  No offense taken, they are very different knives, like comparing apples and oranges,The Godfather is an outstanding knife as all of Pro Tech knives are. The Runt 4 in a lot of peoples opinion is the best small switchblade made by anyone.   Stay tuned Erik, if you like the Godfather down the road there will be a Godson, Large Don, and a TR4. Everyone of these knives are awesome in their own ways

If we do cocobolo, on these guys the laser engraving will not work, so if we do it that way, no bullet holes will be on the wood the laser engraving burns the wood, it will be sterile aside from where the serial number will read TGO# on the aluminum close to the blade   there is very little real estate to work with on such a small knife, They put a Mosiac push button on this knife, they look very cool this way 

  You and I think alike on this, I have asked Dave if he can do the logo on the cocobolo, if it will fit and look good, it will depend on the price,  I want this one to be affordable to alot of Folks who may not have been able to take part on these runs, I am sure he will give us a good deal, and when I get solid prices we can make a decision

    It would be cheaper if we did that

    I am going to see and if there is no price difference, you all can choose to have either blade, Tanto or regular

    Just throwing ideas out there, we will see

You can abuse a cocobola, protech, just fine I have several times, it can take the abuse and still look good, I will get the prices and see what is the cheapest and best way for us on this one,

I am thinking this one in cocobola, because in the future I want to do a Large Don in cocobola, it will be cool to have both the smallest and largest autos they make in that way

He is making a tuxedo sample, same pattern as the godfather, I will post pictures when he gives me a sample, it will be that or cocobolo, wood

O Shoot, that is perfectly normal and the way it is designed to work

I know a few of you have some of Ryan's gear, here are my two Shrikes, Please post pictures of your hawks here, I am a huge fan of these guys The Eddie Van Halen looking one is from the 2013 Blade show, there were only 5 of them made, I traded away the last of my Microtech knives and bought it from a collector. The other one I bought straight from RMJ a couple of months ago

I have been discussing this with Dave, I think the Runt 4 is a very cool knife, Dave will be making some samples to see. This will not be official until I get confirmation of prices, but I may do this run in January,

Personally, I love the Cocobolo, with a mother of Pearl push button,   and since there will be a Godson just like the Godfather the Cocobolo would definitely be my choice

If you all want a Runt, I can do one in January, I am thinking of a tuxedo one done like these Godfathers, I should get a good price on them and if there is enough interest I will make it happen
