Mike Heffron has this and my soon to be 4.25 Anaconda on a 2 year wait list for his signature series Ultra tune to make them world class revolvers. In my opinion these are some of the finest looking wheel guns ever made.

Wow this thing is amazing. I was convinced I would hate the G10 grips so I ordered some wood ones. These grips are staying they are amazing and fit my hand like a glove. I installed a Wilson Combat adjustable and a Gold Dot Wilson combat front to replace the Night Sight, this was a big time improvement. 5 star Firearms make the Speedloader equipment pictured with my New Colt. I will shoot the crap out of it next week and let you all know what I think

Benchmade Mini Adamas Auto Carbon Fiber

The thing that made me want it the most, I love the idea of the Magnacut blade, Benchmade is one of the companies that heat treat Magnacut steel correctly. I have had S110V, M390, S90V, all of the super steels and Magnacut heat tempered correctly will have better Edge retention, strength and Corrosion resistance to any of them. Magnacut is supposed to be harder to corrode than Spyderco Salt blades, this and the Carbon Fiber made me pay the hefty price. I loved my full-size Adamas autos, but always wanted a Mini, I will be shocked if this will not become my favorite carry knife If any of you are familiar with Devin Rob Thomas Damascus steel, Devin is a friend I met several years ago at blade show, his son Dr. Larrin Thomas created Magnacut steel and is the one who told me Benchmade knows how to properly heat treat it. -

Benchmade auto knives worth the extra money?
willis68 replied to jeff43's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
So being a Protech dealer and Benchmade as well as others over the years: Protech has always had the Best firing, most torque automatics. Benchmade once I put a TR3 Spring on my AFO2 became my favorite knife. The Benchmade Adamas as mentioned before is a Tank. The Mini Auto Adamas I have coming I expect to be my all-time favorite knife. Benchmade knives in my opinion, are well worth their prices. Spyderco makes an amazing Auto Knife as well. When you are talking about OTF Automatics Gavin Hawk and his brother make the Deadlock which in my opinion is worth the money. I however have a hard time spending nearly 2k on a knife when there are still so many guns that I desire. -

I just ordered it from Benchmade Knives: 2730-03 Mini Auto Adamas - AXIS Auto - Marbled Carbon Fiber - CPM-MagnaCut (knivesshipfree.com) In case you all are not aware, these fine folks are now located here in Tennessee. I will post pictures and give you all my thoughts when I get home.

I will be getting a small break, just a few days off of my offshore Project, So Saturday the 27th I should pick up my Python Combat elite. I have the Wilson Combat Gold front and rear sight and I have some special Walnut Altamont grips coming that I think should make it much more to my liking. I will update once I have her and shoot her and let you all know what I think. My 4.25 Anaconda I will pick up at the end of my offshore campaign.
-
I have Wilson Combat Rear adjustable sights, with a Gold Bead front waiting as well, I am doing the same on the 4.25 Anaconda, I feel the only thing they got wrong with the new revolvers are the sights.
-
I will have my new 4.25 Anaconda along with my Colt Python Combat Elite, when I get home from this trip. I can’t wait to have these added with my King Cobra Snub nose I absolutely love the new Colt Revolvers.
-
Do any of you own one? I will be getting mine when I get home from this trip. I know the new Colts are not liked by everyone but I am a huge fan of them
-
Mine has a pistol grip, I am getting a 1301 Beretta mod 2 with a pistol grip as well. The pistol grip for me anyway makes the shotguns easier to get a good stance when shooting

So, Oceaneva are the ones I test their watches, but my favorite Micro Brand American made watch company is Ocean Crawler. I bought the one pictured below Core Diver with the Orange band. I liked it so much that I traded the owner of Ocean Crawlers watches my Ball watch for 3 new watches of my choice. The First is a blue one Core Diver that I put a picture up of already with the leather band. The second is the full Lume Bolt model pictured below, ones shot of the watch before and one after lighted to show the Lume ( the high resolution picture shows it much better) I willl use my 3rd watch credit for something they come out with later. I absolutely love Ocean Crawler watches
-
Next Watch to test, this one I will keep afterwards, the Mother of Pearl white caught my eye, this one will go to 3k meters when I get back to deepwater
-
Watch survived ovet 9.5 hours at over 5400feet Seawater I Let the ROV Boss keep it, he winded it put it on his wrist, and it works keeping perfect time
-
ROV’s can be used for any deep water operations, Science, exploration Subsea construction and maintenance, a whole industry of Oil and Gas is what I do.
-
well today was the day, I actually thought we were going down to 5137, we went to 5470 the watch stopped working just after passing 5400 feet. While this is not the 3k meters it was rated for, this is still quite impressive. At the moment the watch looks fine at depth, the second hand stopped so when we bring the Sub on deck Ill take pictures of the watch and uodate this

Cloud makes a better handheld, and in my opinion the Rein 3 mounted on my Benelli M4 is superior to any Surefire Scout I have owned. I have many Surefire lights but after Modlite and Cloud defensive came around the only role Surefire is superior in is Pistol mounted lights. Cloud has been working on coming out with a Pistol mounted light for a while now. I have 6 Modlites, ran 2 of their pistol lights and had switch issues. I no longer have those Modlite handhelds are bulletproof the beauty of Modlite is that you can run all of the surefire switches, rail mounts made for the surefire scout lights. I have replaced older Surefire weapon mounted lights with Modlite Heads and the difference is night and day. I have the OKW HOG and it is big. Since it came out it has been my favorite that was until I received my Cloud Defensive MCH Duty. I have mine programmed for low and the Highest setting. I still have my MCH lights but the Duty is superior I have recently learned that Modlite has made a programmable Light, Until I get one the Duty will remain my favorite. Surefire for a very long time was superior to everyone, this is no longer the case in my opinion unless you are talking about pistol mounted lights they are the only one who gets the switches right

Yes they are, they are sending me a Red Titanium one that I requested, that stainless one is very heavy

For those of you who know me in the real world, I have over 20 years ROV experience. Nowadays I run ROV projects for Oil and Gas Companies. I have always loved products made in the USA. Recently I purchased my first Ocean Crawler Dive watch. I like it so much that I reached out to the owner of Ocean Crawler and offered him my Ball watch for 3 future releases, he accepted, and I could not be more pleased. As I said American made. The Ocean Crawler Core Diver watches are guaranteed to 2000 feet, this is overkill I know but they actually have very expensive pressure machine and put them through the ringer before they leave their facility. The Black and Orange dial watch pictured on my wrist I am wearing now. The Blue Dial Ocean Crawler with the leather strap in the picture is coming to me after Jan 31st, and is one of the 3 I get for my Ball Oceaneva is another Micro Brand here in the USA. These folks make a diving watch that is guaranteed to 3000 meters. I reached out to them and asked if they would like me to test their 3K meter watch. The Gold one pictured on my wrist. I wore this throughout the Holidays. It is a great watch. Currently the ROV boys have it and we will strap it to the frame of the ROV and video we will be working at 5137 Feet, and see what happens. Oceaneva gave me the watch to keep, and is sending me a personal one for doing this. I will try and put the video and results on here in the next couple of weeks
