I go offshore Sunday so I will resume taking knives in to sharpen when I return 4 to 5 weeks Before the end of the year I plan on buying a Tormek T8 system, that is an awesome Swedish water cooled sharpening system that will allow me to do large blades that the Wicked Edge will never be able to do, with both systems I will be able to sharpen damn near everything

Honestly, Of all the pocket knives I own, the Magic and Strider models are my two favorites, I know Dave feels the same way

If I do not get called out to work before I will be attending this years Blade show for the 2nd time in a row, Protech is hooking me up with a Employee pass so I get in with the show early along with all the vendors. Another Strider, my carry knife for the last 2 weeks

No advantage, just differences in tastes, for me it is the fact that since I was 7 and had a switchblade comb I have always been fascinated by them This certainly does not mean it is better than a quality folder, but for $100 I think you will be hard pressed to find a better knife than this one
