    Who has a P238?

I just cannot understand the desire for a .380 pistol? I have shot a few and personally think the caliber is a joke, aside from that it is a nice little Sig

For all of you who have a Mac with an intel processor, Snow Leopard officially comes out the 28th, this Friday for $29.00 to upgrade from OS 10, I will be one of the first people at the Apple store Friday morning. I got to play with a Mac Book pro with Snow Leopard, it is huge difference in speed, booting, programs opening, they did this one right and for $29.00 it is a no brainer!

    Wilson 1911 Owners

I have bought 9 guns from George, he is an awesome guy to deal with!
  8. Joe, if that was a joke played by you guys, very cruel, but the funniest damn thing that I have seen in several years, thanks
  9. I appreciate the offer, But i am pretty obsessed with the Rocker C after February I will be getting one so Please let me know when any of you guys would like to ride next year
  10. If you guys decide to do one next year, count me in my Harley purchase got delayed until next season unfortunately
  11. No problem, I figured that you had a backup and forgot to point it out ,enjoy your new Sig
  12. Les builds a fine 1911, go for it
  13. Very Nice gun, you said that you have not fired it yet but have been carrying it, I always run several hundred rounds through a gun before I trust it to carry, I hope that you had a backup, I know that Sigs are known for their reliability but every gun has to prove itself to me before I trust my life to it, I really like that pistol!
  14. PM me I will be happy to give you an empty bottle and Box
  15. Training is on the job, Electronics, Hydraulics help get in the door. The industry is so slow at the moment that only experienced guys are working. That will change anytime. I have been talking with some guys who like me are Senior Supervisors and have trained many Pilot Technicians. There are schools in Texas that people go thru and pay around $8000.00 to get them in the door. I am sick and tired of what I see come out of these schools, the poor kids do not have a clue as to what to expect of them out here. I am checking into getting some grants to set up 2 to 3 week seminars where I can take anyone with a strong amount of common sense and have them ready to go offshore and work with ROV's. The reputation that myself and the guys I am considering having do this with me will secure a job for anyone we train. Presently there are only 4500 experienced ROV pilots in the world competent enough to be good at this. This is what makes you EXTREMELY valuable. Guys when the industry picks up I will let you all know
  16. That is the downside of this business, however the pay and time off more than make up for it. I actually spend more quality time with my family now than I did working for cable companies, so for me at least I have the best job in the world
  17. Remotely Operated Vehicles, ROV Guys if you have an electronics or Hydraulic background, that is the key to get in the buisness. In the next year or so I plan on holding a seminar (training and Introduction) in Nashville that will offer a way into this industry. I have to work out the details and everything but no one in our area Mid TN that I know of works in this field besides myself and a co worker that I convinced to move into our great state
  18. Agreed, that has become my favorite show as well
  19. If you are a multi million dollar company and have a boat with over $50 million dollars of equipment on your vessel, you can hire Maritime security companies whom hold licenses for the purpose of escorting a vessel. I do not understand all of the red tape involved (not my responsibility) but it is extremely expensive and is done all of the time in my industry
  20. I get to come home for a week, we are heading out on the 1st of Sept
  21. Well I got some good news the other day, you see my company is going to work in India and I am sailing with the boat over there. We will be going through the Suez canal and that area is known for serious Piracy and Bandits. I have asked several times about taking firearms (someone onboard) and at the end of the day they hired a security team of 7 members to sail with me. I am not sure who they are yet (what company) but they are supposed to be the best in the buisness and they are quite expensive to say the least. This should be a very interesting 58 day Voyage. I will post pictures of highlights of the sail
  22. What is Kix to do now? Ronnie is the singer
  23. You should treat your Wilson Professional that way, they are not made to stay in a safe they get Claustrophobia and feel neglected
