    AR 15 suggestions

RRA (Rock River Arms) for the money you are talking about, anything North of $2k, Noveske, Lewis Machine and Tool, LWRC are very fine rifles
  3. If they can be had for under $2k, i will be all over this, Please let me know when you can find out for sure
  4. Yes, I want that one in .45ACP
  5. Absolutely, Patriot safes can be had with 2 hour fire protection, mine does and a lifetime warranty as well but these safes are built like a tank and offer the best fire protection and build quality of any I have seen and I researched for 2 years before I bought mine
  6. Here is the one that I have, it looks fine in my house my wife is very picky, the Bolts are on the outside as opposed to Cannons that is why I went with this, Patriot safes are awesome http://www.patriotsafe.com/quotProtectorquot-24-gun-safe-2-hour-fire-1880-2010-LEO-Special-_p_25.html
  7. Man im not sure? I have the picture but no model number, if you find out let me know
  8. Thanks for that Hatmaker I still want this one!!!!
  9. Just spoke with Sig, they received it this morning and are now saying that it should be back to my house by the end of next week
  10. I shipped my Sig this morning at that UPS Hub, I had the shipping label from SIG and handed the guy my blue box and it and no hassle whatsoever, took less than 2 minutes and It was boxed up and sent, I couldn't have been happier they didn't even ask if it was a firearm, of course the shipping label more than likely told them
  11. Mount Juliet will, I have connections, my daughter works there
  12. I know it will not be exactly like my 1911 triggers,Ed Brown, Nighthawk custom, that is impossible I am just looking forward to the short reset and less pull, I sent it off today and I know I will be happy with it.
  13. Thanks Jason, Scott Rudolph of Sig's custom shop assures me that I will love it, and he knows that I am a 1911 guy
  14. It got delayed due to me being stuck offshore, better late than never!!
  15. From what I am told, they hone and polish everything to make it a very Light pull(as light as they recommend on a carry gun) that combined with the Short reset trigger make it close to the Earnest Langdon P220 trigger job that was made a while back. I shot one of those and it was as close to a 1911 as you can get a DA trigger pull
  16. If not it will go back to them at their expense, I have that guaranteed through them. They seem like very nice folks to work with.
  17. I would have no problem with that, I will shoot you a PM when it gets back and perhaps we can meet up
  18. I have just received my shipping slip from Sig, the custom shop services have been paid for all I have to do is drop it off at the UPS hub in the Morning I considered Grey's for the trigger work and Wayne Novak for the Night Sights but I wanted to retain its lifetime warranty and let SIG be the only ones who smith this pistol they will be doing the following 1. AEP (Action Enhancement Program) Basically making the trigger more 1911 like for me and polishing the feed ramp 2. SRT (Short Reset Trigger) 3. SIG Lights (night sights) they will be sighting it in at 15 yards with Remington Golden Saber 230 Grain they are also throwing all new springs and stuff even though this pistol has never been shot, All of this including VIP shipping for $400.00, so I will have my P220R exactly as I want as I could not buy a stock pistol from them configured this way. I have put Houge Re-Checkered stock grips and a Black stainless steel Guide rod from AR-15.com. on the pistol but it remains unfired I was told to expect it back in 3 to 4 weeks, delivered to my home I am really looking forward to getting it
  19. I got one of these last week Apex 4 kit These are what companies that you send knives into use, A guy I work with offshore had one and he sharpened everyone's knife on the vessel. My Microtech LUDT has ONLY been sent into Microtech for sharpening, he guaranteed me that it would come out as sharp as what they do and there would be absolutely no scratches and a mirror finish after he was done, reluctantly I let him do it I was able to fillet paper and it actually was as sharp if not sharper than Microtech has done. I had to have one so I bought the kit and am practicing on cheap knifes. This was quite expensive but knowing that I will be able to do as good as Microtech sharpening my knifes, I believe this was a bargain!!!!
  20. i will have it early in the morning on the 11th, Gunnut1968
  21. Why would you send a Smith and Wesson to a Sig rep?
  22. I know Canon is awesome about that kind of thing, Call Nikon and find out
  23. I have just received my packaging slip from Sig, It is paid for and I have to drop it off at the UPS hub monday I considered Grey's and Wayne Novak but I wanted to retain its lifetime warranty and let SIG be the only ones who smith this pistol they will be doing the following 1. AEP (Action Enhancement Program) Basically making the trigger more 1911 like for me and polishing the feed ramp 2. SRT (Short Reset Trigger) 3.
