  1. I have been hearing rumors of the Bren Ten being made again by a company called Vltor Weapon Systems, has anyone any more information on this? I am VERY interested in this pistol if it in fact is ever released
  2. I agree a prison should be just that, no TV, entertainment and complete isolation unfortunately I don't see this happening anytime soon it seems they are given more comforts being locked up then some good people have in society. My wife has a good idea, she suggests that a bounty should be paid to Gang bangers for taking out other gang bangers they would eliminate each other for money I have no doubt, something has to be done this is getting out of hand.
  3. Can you think of a better way to detour it? They obviously do not mind being locked up in prison, hell that just makes them stronger. If there was a Death penalty for being a Gang member and it was imposed immediately, it would not only save millions of dollars but would put an end to this crap once and for all. It sounds like a damn good answer to me
  4. The company that I worked for went belly up as well, Thanks Obama!! but I left for another company prior to this happening, I took a small cut in pay but at the end of the day I was overpaid to begin with so I am still very happy and extremely lucky to have a job as a lot of guys in my industry are unemployed at the moment

    SNIPER?

Yes, I set it up to record the series, I love the History Channel
  6. Sorry, my mistake what is the difference in the Valor Bob and the Cbob please enlighten me is it worth the price?
  7. I have shot a Dan Wesson Cbob, it was nice but compared to my Kobra carry it was simply outclassed. The owner of the Cbob agreed, but for the price it was a great pistol The 2009 prices were fair now that they have gone up to where they are you should get more gun for that money, if you ever get a chance to compare a Cbob to an Ed Brown Kobra carry or Executive carry, or Nighthawk commander bobtail, or Wilson Professional you will see a clear difference these guns are expensive and there is a reason for that I am sorry but Dan Wesson simply is not on that level so for them to enter the price range of greater than 2k, does not make sense to me
  8. yes, very unwise business decision they now have the Vbob, and charge a heck of a lot more for it
  9. James, I have been there believe me!!! Have faith in the Lord and you will do just fine. It sounds to me like you have done a lot of soul searching and that my friend is a good thing! You and your family are in my prayers, Have a Wonderful Christmas!! if I can help you in any way, please PM me
  10. Good to hear it man that you are alive, I was worried about you
  11. you have a good point, but we should never forget to fight without a weapon when it is applicable. I always have a Surefire pen and a E2D Defender light for those situations where my fists will not get the job done
  12. Doesn't anyone know how to fight with their bare fists anymore?? I have defended myself my whole life that way, I only started carrying a firearm when I got married and had children,
  13. You are the man I need to buy used guns from then
  14. Then why buy it? they are made to be shot and that is the joy of owning them
  15. I just ordered a NIB Les Baer TRS (No Front cocking serrations) for $1800.00 shipped, I would pay $400.00 more for this pistol any day of the week than to have any of the Dan Wesson offerings. The old prices were a very good deal, the new prices will keep me from ever being an owner
  16. So the question I have for you then would you buy the Vbob or spend a few hundred more for an Ed Brown Kobra Carry? I know a lot of people including myself that would go with the Ed Brown hands down
  17. What reason do they have for raising their prices so much? the Cbob is a great pistol no doubt, but not a $2000.00 pistol when I have seen them for $850-$1000.00 where is the justification on that much of a price increase? they are getting into the big boys price range this is just my opinion but they have always been a bargain with their prices when you are spending this much on a 1911, why not spend a few hundred more and get something really nice?
  18. I have bought from Both Hero Gear and Guns and Leather, both have a lot of great 1911's and will give you great customer service and prices
  19. I know a bunch of you swear by them, but their prices for 2010 are now in Ed Brown, Les Baer territory, sorry but for this money I would go with an Ed Brown or a Les Baer Ole Dan may be losing a bunch of business on a few models CZ-USA -> Dan Wesson products
  20. Pelican cases are awesome, I work offshore and all of our high end expensive equipment is stored in them, I was not aware that they made rifle cases, thank you for posting this I am about to order one
