  1. I have heard they are awesome weapons, a couple of years I pursued buying one but could never find one available, Future Weapons on the Discovery channel did a show about them a year or so ago

    .357 SIG

Coop, That is a very nice used pistol, I would have jumped on that one!!!

    .357 SIG

I watched a special on the Secret service the other night, the fact that them and a few other agencies carry the p229 chambered in that round has me intrigued. I am not worried about the price of the ammo for it as it is relatively the same as .45 ACP and I am use to paying those prices. I think I will get a P229 in .357 and have SIG do the action and trigger work that they did on my P220, and if the wife does not like I will just keep it

    .357 SIG

Beside the cost and availability of the Ammo, if those were not an issue would you recommend it?
  5. How do you know how well that pistol shoots? to say that a Para 1911 shoots just as well as a custom built 1911, well i think you would have to compare them first hand before making that claim. By the way I would take 11 Para's over the Kimber as well

    .357 SIG

I am thinking of getting a SIG P229 chambered in .357 SIG for my wife, I have mainly .45 ACP guns and was wondering how many of you carry this round?
  7. and HK and about 100 different 1911's
  8. Damn, only $40.00 for an annual membership? is that correct, if so I will have to get one
  9. That is the way he finishes most of his 1911's not for looks but for function he really does not build them much anymore that is why the prices have went through the roof
  10. Now this one I would have bought Colt 1911 Larry Vickers Custom 45 acp 45ACP : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com
  11. Folks this is one hell of a deal on a fine 1911, do not worry you will most definitely be getting your moneys worth
  12. I have 11 months left before expiration and already have it ready to go, it is always better to prepare early so everything goes smoothly
  13. This is why it is best to renew your permit 6 months before it expires
  14. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=150649871 I have always wanted a Larry Vickers 1911, but no way would I pay for this one..

    Desert Eagle .50??

I had one for 5 days, I shot it one time and decided it was not my thing, they are incredible hand guns you must experience it to decide if it is something that you want
  16. I for one would gladly help pay for this
  17. that is a great point Dave, that is what makes me sick I just do not understand if they are not allowed to pursue these people or think they have bigger fish to fry
  18. why, do you commit crimes, robbery, rape, murder and brag about it? How is a group of responsible law abiding citizens who choose to believe in their right to own firearms in any way confused with a gang banger???
  19. Do any of you watch Gangland? I do and when the Bangers on there brag about what they do, what process in necessary? they admit and boast about the crimes that they commit those are the one's that that I was referring to, where it is NOT a question about innocence or quilt
  20. Thanks, I wish more info was available, pricing, availability date hopefully that info is not far away
