  1. Adam sent me a PM when he received it and he loves it as much as I have been loving mine for the last several years
  2. Time, willis, time....that is what I was lacking in...was time, my Brother. It will get fed plenty of CD, trust me...I was just trying em for quick confirmation, and posted the results for you guys to evaluate the round. I hear you, Im glad that you know better I can not begin to tell you how many people I see who trust ammo after firing 20 rounds and when they are up to 35 nothing but issues, just looking out for you my friend
  3. Man, in all honesty you need to shoot at the very least 2 to 5 hundred rounds before you know your pistol will reliably feed a round. I have had $2k 1911's choke on Hornady Tap after 100 rounds were fired through them, it is your life though
  4. Magic, I know what you mean, It depreciates as soon as I drive it off the lot but it has been several years since I bought a new car and it was a good feeling. I bought a 2007 FJ cruiser with 300 miles on it in 07 and that was the closest to new in over 15 years
  5. I here you on that, Hell the Harley I wanted and almost bought was like $25K
  6. I wish I would have read this first, my dumbass did the same thing but after double checking and re reading it I put a line through all of those entries and wrote N/A next to them, Hopefully that will fly as I sent them off today
  7. Thanks, I sent them off today now the wait begins!
  8. The only thing I was told about delivery dates, was that a green light was given for this project, so I have no idea
  9. I emailed Remington a while back to find out where their new 1911's would be made, I already had it by a good reliable source that they would be made in America, anyway here is part of the reply sent to me by Remington ...The gun is being made In our Ilion NY facility. We are not importing them. As far as the MIM parts go, like most companies I am sure there will be some MIM parts, and I'm trying to get a complete listing for you as of now, but I don't have it yet, reply back to me, and as soon as I get the list Ill let you know. Thanks!
  10. No, I have grand kids and we take road trips, we got the rear DVD entertainment system instead, if it was not for that I would have gotten the roof
  11. I will put it to you this way, My brother in law owns a Lexus crossover that he paid over $50K for and even he is thinking about selling his to buy one like mine. Yes 30K is a lot of money but I got all the bells and whistles for that money, built in Navigation, Leather seats, Rear Back up camera, rear DVD entertainment system, automatic climate control for front and back, heated seats and several more things,They do have them a lot cheaper not as loaded but considering I was prepared to spend $40 to $55K, I feel that I got a bargain and am very happy
  12. My family has been in need of a 7 passenger vehicle for a year or so now. My wife and I decided we were either going to go with a new Honda Odyssey mini van or a new Toyota Sequoia or GMC Yukon, I never thought I would be saying this but we bought a 2011 Kia Sorento with every option available and I absolutely love it! When I found out that the 2011 Sorento was built in the US in Georgia I decided to go to Carnival Kia and check them out, in all honesty I paid right at $30K for it and could not be happier, Sorry just had to tell someone [/img]
  13. When I was 16 years old I worked for Cassanos Pizza in Ohio, the store manager gave me a Colt Python .357 Magnum to keep handy during closings and deposits, at the time I did not even know if it were legal or not but I sure felt a heck of a lot safer with that Colt with me and looking back to this day that was one of the best bosses that I ever had, he cared more about my safety than any legal issues he would possibly face.
  14. I would like to have just 5 minutes alone in a room with this piece of , this makes my blood boil to no end
  15. Agreed, they will sell like hotcakes and be a huge success for them
  16. I have news for you, If RIA or any foreign maker manufactures this pistol I will NOT buy one, Remington should be made in america, I have been told that it will be built here in the states and that comes from a credible source.
  17. I am with you, I am getting one just because it is a Remington but I will more than likely keep it NIB and unfired,
  18. I am in no way close minded, I have been shooting for well over 20 years, that my friend leads to experience. I have shot more +P ammo more than likely than you have shot of any kind and for you to give advise on this board that can potentially harm some one's pistol you should expect to be challenged on your wisdom of the matter. Please tell me of your vast experience on this matter, I do not read gun magazines I prefer to shoot and make my own decisions PS I hate Cool Aide!!!
  19. Bart, Just keep telling yourself that if it helps you go through life, even if a gun is rated for +P ammunition the felt recoil and stress to the pistol caused due to higher pressures outweigh any benefits achieved. I carry standard pressure Remington Golden Saber 230 Grain, the same ammunition that the FBI HRT team carry, if it is good enough for them it will sure as hell serve my defensive needs and always functions superbly in all of my .45's
  20. I have never in my life heard that claim before, in fact it is usually the contrary. +P Ammunition produces unneeded stress on pistol frames, please explain to me why you think non +P ammo is a reliability risk, this should be quite entertaining
  21. Are you seriously going to carry a round that you have only fired 5 times through your weapon? that is hardly proof that it will function 100%, but then again it is your life and not mine....
  22. Welcome, I have pretty much lived all over this country, Tennessee is indeed God's country you will love it
  23. Thanks for the reply Guys, I will bring my G20SF and stash it when I have to, we are going to Coca Cola world first, then the aquarium, I am looking forward to it
