  1. I love the looks of those 1911's the only thing I would have done differently than you and Jason would be to have ordered it with a naked slide (no roll marks) I just might have to get me one of them! did the gun rug come with it or did it cost extra?
  2. Congrats Hatmaker, that is one fine 1911
  3. I very much like the Wilson mags as well, I have several 47DC's that I use in my bobtail commander pistols. However in my Government models I prefer the CMC's they have outlasted a few 47's and they won me over for that reason
  4. No, I have been wanting to and whenever I find a good sale on them I will stock up
  5. I have been wanting a 2 inch Barrel 686 Smith and Wesson in stainless steel, I will eventually get one and have some custom work done to it In your opinion, what year pre Clinton lock 686 would you say is the best made?
  6. I think you are correct. I have dealt with Midway USA for well over 10 years and have NEVER had an issue. It looks like C-Products labeling is as screwed up as their 1911 magazines are, just be glad this happened as you can exchange them for some very good magazines for not much more money
  7. If you ordered them from the link that you posted, Then it is definitely not your fault. Midway screwed up and more than likely they will take care of you for their error. CMC magazines are excellent both Shooting star and Power magazines. I myself use the Power mags exclusively I own 25 of them and they have not failed in any 1911 I have ever owned
  8. Garufa, You are correct sir, to the OP you must have bought officer size magazines I would return them for an exchange. Having said that I would recommend that you buy http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=783573 Chip Mccormick 8 round power mags, C- Products 1911 magazines are, shall we say less than desirable
  9. Not sure what shirt I was wearing but I was shipping an Ed Brown pistol
  10. It may take a while, but they will recover
  11. Just a friendly tip to you guys, I have worked in this industry for 10 years, and if you want to buy stock buy Transocean now, I Guarantee they will rebound from this as BP will end up paying the bills
  12. Yes, you can also get into the armorers course with a membership which is something I have been wanting to do.
  13. These are expensive but worth every cent, the security cable can be ordered with it GVB1000 - MINI & MULTI BIO - HANDGUN SAFES
  14. Did you get that with the GSSF discount as well? That GSSF is one hell of a deal not only do you get a great discount but 3 mags are included with the pistol I wish I would have signed up much sooner
  15. That is total BS, I will NEVER buy a thing from them and advise everyone I know the same I would most definitely consult an attorney those guys are thieves
  16. Does anyone know if there is a GSSF discount honoring dealer close to Nashville? if not can they be purchased directly through Glock? and I am wanting an OD 3rd Gen 17 with Night sights would this pistol be eligible for the discount, I just sent the paperwork off for my membership
  17. Is this true? Please give me details I want another G-17
