  1. Halfpint, When I buy myself one, I will buy you one as well. The fact that you are a Marine and are looking for employment and the post that you made here struck a chord in me, PM me the config of that 1911 knife that you want and your shipping address and when I order mine, within a few weeks I will get you one as well
  2. Trust me, you cannot go wrong investing in Gold, I have a co worker who invested $20K 5 years ago, he now only works when he wants and has just purchased a 2010 Lamborghini, Paid his 250K home in Houston Texas off, he paid cash for the car and only has insurance and utilities bills that have to be met each month. Believe me I wish I would have listened to his advice at the time he offered it to me
  3. Finally found one, traded my Halo 5 for it!
  4. I have been trying to find a NIB Socom D/A for well over a year, I was just contacted by the friend who got me the deal on the Halo, I am trading it for this, in my opinion this is the BEST folding knife ever designed and I could not be happier, I never thought I would find one with the exact blade profile I wanted new in the Box, I can always get another Halo V but these puppies are damn near extinct :D for any of you that do not know, Microtech designed this for the military Special Operations elements of the Army members, it was an extremely limited edition knife and this one has been sitting in a well humidified vault for over the last 10 years

  9. Why be afraid to shoot it? I use to own an Ed Brown commander with a mirror polish, I shot it quite a bit, they do clean up after all. I do not buy guns for their looks either but they damn sure do not hurt

Jeff Sig's thread got me interested in these, are these good pistols? I can get the one with Novak Night sights for around 7 bills, I know nothing about them but I really like their looks Kahr Arms / 9mm Models / T9 Series http://www.kahr.com/PA-1_40sw_t.html

  14. That is why I waited for the SF model. The Glock 21 and 20 were on my list for a couple of years, I just did not like the grip, the SF models fit my hand perfectly
  15. Brother, if you have to take out a second mortgage for $430.00, than you cannot afford to buy bullets, that is what I paid for my Son's 9 mill p226
  16. Yes, I think you would have been much happier with a certified Pre owned Sig, but that is just me
  17. No, I do not shoot competitive, but I will start reloading and the ability to shoot lead is what got me thinking about it. I have researched both Lone Wolf and Bar Sto barrels and the Bar Sto are more accurate for not much more money
  18. :D I really wish it was that simple, the guys out there right now are pretty ingenious at coming up with ideas to stop it, the problem is getting upper management to agree with their methods, I have never had to cap off a leak this bad, but I have successfully done much smaller ones.
  19. You would be surprised at what I can do with two Schilling manipulators (arms) at 4200 feet deep

    Remington 1911 R1

For what it is worth, I was told by the Remington Rep that I spoke with that both the frame and slide will be forged,
  21. Look on the bright side, plain edges are a heck of a lot easier to sharpen;)
