  1. We upgraded to a Airport Extreme 2 months ago, this is by far the best router I have ever used. Our internet is blazing fast so the price I paid for this was worth it to me.
  2. Benchmade will tell you the same thing if you have problems with your AFO2, call and ask them if you doubt it as stated before there are Laws hindering your customer service issues, not the companies
  3. For what it is worth I am a 1911 guy, but I have owned 3 Glocks a 17, 21sf and a 20SF. The only one I now own is the 20sf for the uses that you describe this pistol purchase will be for that is what I would get. The 10 Millimeter round is an awesome experience and the Glock 20SF handles it quite well. I absolutely love mine and seriously doubt I will ever sell it it is a very fun gun to shoot!
  4. In my opinion the TRP is the best "production" 1911 on the market, having said that Springfield armory custom pistols are on a completely different level. How long of a wait was it for your Pro? I will either get the Professional or Les Baer's equivalent in the S.R.P sometime next year, Congrats they are some of the finest 1911s made
  5. I have heard many good things about Chris Reeves knives, I will have my 21 Sebenza JD forums edition at the end of August when it is done, I am looking forward to that one!
  6. Actually, the TRP Professional (Springfield custom shop pistol) is the model that the FBI uses, it is a heck of a pistol but quite expensive at $2500.00 a piece and over a one year wait for one to be built, there is no difference in the ones that the FBI receives and the one Civilians receive, they are assembled by the same people and the smiths that put them together do not know which ones are going to the FBI. I have talked with the Springfield custom shop at length about this pistol, I will have one someday Here is the reply I got from Springfield's custom shop when I asked the difference in the TRP and the Pro a few years ago: The TRP is a factory pistol which has been upgraded with a few features to make it look like the full custom Professional model (FBI SWAT pistol). The Professional is a full custom pistol that begins with a national match frame which has the oversized slide rails cut into the frame in our Geneseo machine shop. It uses all custom parts, including the Springfield Custom tool steel hammer & sear, Nowlin barrel & bushing, S&A mag well, Wilson ambi thumb safety, Novak low mount rear sight, dovetail front sight, match skeletonized trigger, standard guide rod system, and 6 specially tuned Metalform 7 round magazines. These pistols are hand assembled by custom gunsmiths in our Geneseo custom shop, under the supervision of master gunsmith David Williams. The Professional models meet or exceed all specifications of the FBI SWAT contract, including the accuracy requirement of 1.5" or better at 25 yards with Remington Golden Saber ammunition. The civilian pistols and the FBI pistols are built at the same time, with the gunsmiths never knowing whether a civilian or FBI agent will be using the pistol. These pistols are built approx. every 45 days, with the FBI order being filled first and civilian orders getting all of the remaining from the production run. These pistols do not have front cocking serrations or full length guide rods because the FBI chose not to have these features on their pistols. (Front cocking serrations catch on clothing and full length guide rods require additional tools for disassembly.) These pistols are finished with the Black T finish done by Walter Birdsong in MS. 7. He is in my Prayers, sorry to hear about this
  8. I changed my order from the 0302 to a Zero Tolerance composite blade, Model # 0350CB these are a limited edition made knife and he is giving me a great fourth of July special deal on them at $135.00 shipped, I will get the 0302 later
  9. I would suggest that you try one before you buy it. I was extremely happy with my Kimber Ultra carry until I was at a range in Florida and someone let me shoot my first Ed Brown. After that I never looked back and Just Like you I wondered if they were worth the high price tag to me they are worth every cent but this decision must be made by the one spending the money Yes they are sensitive to cheap ammo, the manufacturers recommend using premium ammunition so that is all that I feed mine
  10. Counselor, Let me know if you want to shoot a High end 1911 sometime, but I warn you now that your bank account will hurt shortly after. They are quite addictive:D:D
  11. When I get one I will put these Black Strider Gunner grips on it Already have the grips, just need to buy the pistol for them
  12. The finish is melonite, it is not made for looks it is made for durability. I shot a GI .50 and the fit and finish impressed the heck out of me,You would cringe if you saw how shabby the Diamond Black looks on my Nighthawk pistol but it does what it is supposed to do. To me anyway this is a perfect no nonsense pistol
  13. I did shoot one of their .50 models, they make one fine 1911 to say the least
  14. You guys are obviously not looking at the same pistol that I linked, the No Name is a .45ACP that is the one I will get, MSRP is $2495.00 I will get it for less than that I am not interested in the .50 with the .45 conversion, I like my 1911's in .45ACP only #NN45 “Pistol with no Name”, .45 ACP (5" - full size) $2495 Taken from Guncrafters price list
  15. I think I will get one of these within the next year, I really like this 1911:)Guncrafter Industries : The Pistol With No Name
  16. David, If you ever decide that you no longer need your Bobtailed Wilson Professional, let me know I would not mind putting it in my carry rotation
  17. Man, if that was your first attempt you could seriously make a living out of doing that, nice job!
  18. I completely agree, I just ordered a 302 next up will be the 0300 and the 0350 when it is released
  19. Thanks guys, these guns look great with the bluing intact but in my opinion better when it wears, either way it is a win win situation!
  20. I now have over 600 flawless rounds fired through this weapon and she still looks new, I carry my Nighthawk most of the time but this one has seen some holster use as well, I am not sure if Baer changed the way they do Bluing or what but other Baers that I have had showed more wear at this point. I am actually looking forward to the bluing wearing
  21. I actually Got a Rock em Sock em robot set for fathers day last year, I love that damn thing
  22. The waitress knew who we were, so we were pulled over no way to deny it, one of the stupidest decisions I made in my life, that ended up being the most expensive tip I have ever paid in my life. The good news is that my C&R will be sorted out. I talked with the BATFE today and explained the whole story, they actually laughed about it and told me when the Court Document is received by them I will be issued my C&R with no delay:)
  23. Got a new Lanyard for my favorite carry knife
