  2. The EOS 7D, I was going to buy the much more expensive EOS 5D Mark 2, I got to try both models for a while and the EOS7D is my all time favorite camera and a bargain you can get it and a great lens in a package combo for $1766.00 unless they come out with a better model by Christmas that is what Santa is bringing me

  5. They are great knives, worth the money? I have been tempted to buy one for several months now but every time I consider getting the Delta folder something else appeals to me more. I have heard great things about them they are built by custom knife makers that Surefire hires out. I have played with them and in my opinion when you get into that price range I would go with a Chris Reeve Sebenza before the Delta Here is a decent review of the Surefire Delta EW-04 http://www.multitool.org/knives/folding-knives/sure-fire-delta-ew-04-long-term-review.html But I know for sure that one day I will get the Surefire EW-04, I really like the looks of them

    Wilson mags

    1. Followers, that are frame safe if the follower is designed properly extra long springs are not needed, this ensures reliability 2. Quality strong springs 3. Heavy duty construction 4. Tighter tolerances Wilson, CMC, Checkmate, Tripp research and a few other makers all follow these guidelines and produce reliable long lasting magazines

    Wilson mags

While I like Wilson Magazines, I prefer Chip McCormick Power Mags. I have owned over 50 47D and 47DC Wilson Combat magazines, the only pistol they would not run reliably in was a Wilson Combat CQB so I bought the cheaper 8 round power mags and they ran perfectly. The Wilson magazines use a polymer follower which is recommended if you have an alloy framed 1911, other than that, quality springs and base pads I still have several 47 series mags and use their 47DC in my commander bobtail carry gun but for my money Chip Mc Cormick Power mags are superior as I have NEVER had a failure with them in any 1911. I plan on Buying some Powermag + and trying them out
  16. Jeff, I copied this from a Louisiana site that a friend of mine runs, Individual Ownership Pros: - Least complicated first purchase. (No need to get a lawyer involved) - Least expensive because there are no start-up or maintenance costs - Upon death, NFA items can be transferred to your "heir" tax free with a ATF Form 5 (5320.5) Cons: - Must get fingerprinted for each NFA application - Must get CLEO sign-off - Only the registered individual is allowed to have access to the item. Others may use the item only in the registered user's presense.

    SHTF

In all seriousness I am networked pretty well, should the need arise myself and a few neighbors should be able to take care of our own I think there are a lot of people around here with that very same mindset
  18. Jeff, Someone will hopefully reply with the proper legal answers, But to the best of my knowledge the best thing to do is set up a trust and add your wife and whomever else that you would want to get the firearms. Whenever I get around to doing it I will be getting an LWRC PSD with an 8 inch barrel, before I purchase the rifle next year I will set up a trust and put my wife on it. This is so if God forbid she should ever have to use it in home defense she will be lawfully doing so as being on my trust she has the same rights to the weapon that I will, I hope this helps
