  1. I will let you know if I feel that it is worth it MAV, he is seriously backed up as I found out but from what I have been told they are well worth it i shall see!
  2. Hey guys, it has been a while since i have bought myself a nice knife, well over a year ago I was discussing a build with a knife maker in Tai land. I honestly thought he blew me off back then but last week he emailed me and said that I am next in line. Well my deposit has been sent and I should have my new custom knife from him in 1 to three months, here is a Link to a knife very close to the one he is building for me. I am really looking forward to this
  3. Yes, Bali Song's Butterfly knives are considered gravity knives in most states, thus making them illegal to carry. I carried a Benchmade Bali Song the whole 4 years that I lived in Florida Legally with their Concealed Weapon permit. I wish Tennessee would relax the laws and use some common sense, people who are entrusted by the Law to carry a gun should be able to carry any knife they choose
  4. I have bought I would guess over 20 Long and short guns in Tennessee in the last 5 or so years, in every event the person or company who shipped the firearm provided a receipt and included it in the Box or case. That is how they all have seen what I have paid. In every case they were opened and inspected to be sure the serial number matches and the correct firearm was shipped to them, I cannot think of anytime when the box was discarded though,
  5. LOL, That is how i get my wife to agree with all the upgrades that I do on my Ford Raptor!
  6. I have never carried a Whale shark but have played around with one and I like the Strder knives more
  7. I have owned a few Strider's and like them, the SMF is my favorite model I think you will be very impressed with it MAV, I would rate it in between your ZT 0300 and an XM-18
  8. LOL, Dave Anderson AKA Kershaw guy and I go way back, I have been dealing with him for about 20 years now he is an awesome guy to buy from!
  9. I thought it may be, I like that I have not seen an Orange one before
  10. yes, it use to have the street address as already stated. I am pretty sure that Florida had the same thing when i lived there, my wife looked mine up somehow when i was offshore once while living there
  11. Send it to Sig, that is what I did
  12. Nice looking 1911, that is the only Sig 1911 that I really like Congrats!
  13. It does not need to be fancy, as long as it works for you that is all that matters
  14. Very interesting that you have seen problems with the Hinderer flippers. I personally have owned 4 and they were all great at flipping that massive of a blade. Rick Hinderer would tell you himself that his knives are not built to be the fastest flippers on the market they do what they are supposed to and easily open with one hand. If you want to see a custom knife that will smoke any Hinderer or any other knife on the market at flipping that I have seen RJ Martin is your man a Q36 is the sweetest flipper on the planet in my opinion, I foolishly sold the two I owned for a profit I need another Mav tell your friend if he is not happy about anything on his knives Rick will make it right. The pivot screw on the XM knives can be adjusted and perhaps was tightened too much on the ones your friend has? Simple fix

    1911 gift

I would not consider Nighthawk Custom unless you want a gun that is built to his specs exactly how he would want it I owned several 1911's before I bought my Nighthawk and Nighthawk custom is not the same company that it once was Mine is a perfect weapon in every aspect it was built by Ron Phillips back when he was in charge and today the pistol I carry would cost nearly $4k so I most definately would not get a Nighthawk as a first 1911

    1911 gift

I carry a Government model 1911 quite often, I have no problems doing so it is just as comfortable as a commander or compact and with the right holster you will not notice a difference

    1911 gift

Agreed, If this is in your budget a much better built 1911
