  1.   Mine's been back 4 times.  I want to like the gun, but I'm just about done with it.
  2. How does this differ from the P380 as far as the niche it's trying to fill (or target market in other words)?   EDIT: nm, I answered my own question.   Differences between the Kahr CW380 and Kahr P380 models include: the CW series has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel found on P models; the CW slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CW series slide has fewer machining operations, and uses simple engraved markings instead of roll marking; the P380 comes with two magazines, but the CW series comes with one 6 rd steel magazine with flush baseplate. Lastly, the slide locks back after firing the last round – another feature missing on a number of other value-priced compact semi-auto pistols. The durability and reliability of the CW380 model makes it a strong consideration as a backup gun for law enforcement.
  3. Very nice. I've got a bike trip that will bring me back through MS this spring.  :dirty:
  4. I've always heard fire ants kill out the quail and other ground bird populations as well.  Can't vouch for the truth in that, but it makes sense.
  5. I ordered a .357 SIG barrel for my compact since I have a pile of ammo in that caliber and can't find much .40.  S&W told me they discontinued the M&P's in .357 SIG 2 years ago.     That was news to me.  Fortunately they have "a good supply" of barrels left according to the rep.  Get 'em while they're still in stock if you're wanting one.
  6.   Easy there.  I coached football too, and it was a lot more fun that school board meetings. ;)
  7. There are more folks that show up at one Friday night High School football game than show up in years worth of School Board meetings so what do you expect? The thought police are winning it seems.  Be sure to make your voice heard to the people that make these kinds of decisions.  Having taught at a public school, I can assure you public school administrators don't want to have to deal with upset parents and many will take the path of least resistance.
  8. Bought my mosin from them. No problems at all.
  9. Pics not showing up for me.  Might be a work filter or something, though?
  10.   +1 on this.  Our boy is 7 and is still a handful.  And every weim I've been around is neurotic.  It's just the way they're made.  They're smart and they're a challenge, but don't be harsh with them.  They don't respond well to it, and there's really no need.  As long as they understand what you want and that you're the boss, they'll do ok.
  11. Congrats!  It should be an adventure.
  12. I think sometimes we should memorize some of these stories and use them to counter every bad shooting the anti's want to talk about.
  13. Another very nice blade, and I love the wood. Do you have some pics without the antique finish?
  14. Thanks for posting, but that's a little too steep for me.
  15. 10-ring, those two Dragon pics are awesome! Especially the CBR. Unlike alot of the Dragon "racers" that like to hang off, you look like you know what you're doing. Here's my first bike. Had it for about a year and upgraded to a Connie. My current ride.
  16. You can pause the photo slideshow to keep the page from jumping so much.  If you read the whole article, admittedly difficult ;), they crawfish quite a bit.  The sheriff evidently got a little hot-headed or stubborn about the whole thing and the mayor came in to do damage control.
  17. Same here.  I'm guessing by the time the weather warms up, things will be close enough to normal to afford to shoot some.  I'm definitely not paying a $1 a round to plink at the range.
  18. Seems like a decent response.
  19. out of stock already.
  20. Kudos to him for being able to get past the emotional response and thinking this through.  He's spot on in his argument and seems to understand the situation well.
  21. What a dumb, biased statement. Ar's are remarkably easy for women to use. In fact it's my wife first choice since she's so comfortable with it.
  22. http://www.classicfirearms.com/mosin-nagant-rfile-by-the-crate You might have seen this already but I figured I put up here just in case you're still looking.
  23. Stop by their office and ask them if they would be willing to post one of those, "This building/office/home is gun free" signs.
