One thing I don't understand is why this is an issue between the parent and the resource office in the first place.  If this is a school policy, the principal should have been the one talking to the parent and explaining the situation.  The resource office should have only been there in case something got out of hand.  If it's NOT a school policy, then the principal should have gotten involved and told the office to let him leave with the kids.   The older guy in the video looks to be a school official of some sort and seems to be gutless.

Found this pretty girl running down the middle of the road on Old Symrna here in Brentwood. She was obviously looking for people (anybody would do, I think) and was just about trying to climb into any car that would slow down enough. I have a weim, so I couldn't just leave her there. I stopped, opened the back door of the truck and said, "Hop in." She jumped in and rode around with me for about 15 minutes while we tracked down the owners. EDIT: Sorry, I wasn't clear the first time. I managd to find her "keeper" anyway. The owner was this guy's brother and was in Africa. I've seen the guy pulling in and out of his driveway before on my commute so I knew he lived a couple of houses away. I almost wished I could have taken her home to my boy. He would kill to have a playmate.

  On a certification dive in Lake Ouachita, AR, we were feeding the fish while we waited for everyone to finish demo'ing skills for the instructor.  A 5-inch Brim decided a mole or something on my ear looking like whatever we were feeding it.  It would sneak up over my shoulder and bite me on the top of my left ear.  Let me tell you, Brim bites on the ear in cold water hurt more than you would think.

Got certified while in college, but I haven't been diving in 9 years.  Need to go take a refresher course and get back into it.

I think that was Scalia's point.  In his dissent he wanted the people to decide this issue, and, instead, the court said, " No, WE'LL decide it for you since you decided wrongly."     We might have covered ourselves with honor today, by promising all sides of this debate that it was theirs to settle and that we would respect their resolution.  We might have let the People decide.  But that the majority will not do.Some will rejoice in today’s decision, and some will despair at it; that is the nature of a controversy that matters so much to so many.  But the Court has cheated both sides, robbing the winners of an honest victory, and the losers of the peace that comes from a fair defeat.We owed both of them better. Opened mine up today and found this squeezed b/w the ammo and the box wall. I guess it was used as additional packing material?? Unopened, with 20 lozenges...lol.
