Anyone in/around Knoxville want to install some night sights for me on a Glock? I will buy you lunch! OR...who does it cheapest if I already own the sights.

When I looked over one, it seemed heavier than the XDsc. I'm not sure about specific specs, but it just seemed like a brick. Which can be good or bad depending on what you like.

So I have been considering this the last few days. I have a nightstand gun. I have a carry gun. I was thinking that I would combine the two. Carry my gun while away from the house and put it in my nightstand when I go to bed. The only disadvantage that I have come across is my wife...at the moment, she doesn't like guns being left out. I leave one out in case she is home and I'm not. She knows where my shotgun is and how to work it which will always be around. So this is strictly a handgun question. Aside from the comments, "she should get her HCP" etc...I like hearing what other people do so I can gain insight and potentially learn something.

Does anyone know if the supertuck fitted for a crimson trace will fit the gun without crimson trace? I found a used ST for a Glock 30. It is fitted for the CT, but I don't have that on mine. I like the idea of having it in case I add a laser, but I would want it to work without. Based on placement of the Glock 30 CT, I can't see it would be a big deal without said laser.

How do you like the talon grips? Do they come off easy?

So I did it. I have decided on a Glock 30 for my EDC. It is 100% stock. The first mod will be night sights. What all have you guys done to your Glocks and how do you like it? Heavy springs, 3.5# connectors, etc...Should I even mod it or follow if it ain't broke don't fix it theory?

Ok so this may be a stupid question but on those diagrams...I assume G= grease, L= Lubrication, 1 drop= 1 drop of gun oil?

How much was it at CCA? I stopped by WD's today and it was $679 for a two tone one...pretty pricey.

They tried this crap when I worked in retail. We were not allowed to tell anyone "Merry Christmas" and should instead say "Happy Holidays". I was a door greeter due to my bubbling personality and everyone that came through I yelled MERRY CHRISTMAS! I had the regional manager even tell me to stop...I didn't stop. They threatened my job but never followed through. Now that I have a child, if they don't get a Christmas break, I will pull my child out of school for at least a week to celebrate Christmas. So now that my rant is over, I say that everyone else is allowed to have an opinion (at least for now) and it seems like religious groups aren't. So with that said...MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I have read about lubing too much, but I have a new question...I ordered a BCG today and it was bone dry when it arrived. What should I use for the initial lubrication and how much? What should I lubricate with after the initial lubrication? I know to use oil and all moving parts...any other helpful suggestions?

I'm currently finishing my first build and I have heavily researched different companies. Delton makes a fine product but for me, with what I wanted to do, after I added m4 ramps and Chrome it wasn't much cheaper than the name brands such as bcm. WHat does everyone think about delton? I've read some good things and they are made by wilson arms (barrels)...

who makes the best complete upper? I'm in that phase of my build. I'm looking at 16 inches or so.
