Poll: Best Handgun for Competition

Rant on. This poll is for me. I wanted to know the best pistol out of those choices. If I wanted to include other choices, I would have. I have enjoyed reading responses and have spent some time researching the 34 and 35. But my next pistol purchase will double as a "competition gun" and a potential carry gun. So thanks to the people who actually responded to the poll for my benefit. Again, if you want a more complete poll feel free to make your own. Rant off. -

A remy 700. I have had some training and plan on getting plenty of range time once it warms up.

Ha ha ha I was waiting on that one. That might be a little too much...the nightforce is about the limit I think.

I am looking for suggestions on a long range scope (~1000 yards). I have a .308 and want to max out its capabilities. I need ideas from people who shoot long range. Money isn't a factor (within reason)...so let's hear it!
