Lock picking is pretty easy, just don't get caught with them in the wrong place trying to help someone else that really shouldn't have the lock opened, make sure it's ok. I taught myself, with someone else's picks. You will like it. SS http://www.lockpickguide.com/legalityoflockpicks.html TN – Tennessee Tennessee Code - Section 39-14-701 - Possession of burglary tools. A person who possesses any tool, machine or implement with intent to use the same, or allow the same to be used, to commit any burglary, commits a Class A misdemeanor.

In my original comment I had keep your money in Tennessee if you can, but took it out thinking alot of us think alike, spend local and support your own area. But before I spend several hundred of dollars extra around here, I'll read the manual, go to my local gun store buy bullets/powder... and ask questions about a weapon problem ask a friend, or post on TGO. And the Paris, Ky store will help you if you have a problem and even throw in a extra mag. if your a unhappy customer (friend did). S.S.

HandGuN Permit Badge Opinion?
SkunkSlayer replied to TNblues's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Soon as I seen this thread I though of "We don't need no stinking badges" I'm a day late, nice one bro. -
How prepared are you mentally?
SkunkSlayer replied to Craftypoppa's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Nice topic, nobody needs to be caught with their pants down, we need to be prepared always, even when you are in our local restaurants cowering behind a dinning table with your carry weapon secured in your vehicle dialing 911 for help.(another story) I have been shot at and it's not a good feeling, you shift gears with every shot, was running away unarmed. I have a friend who is a Pastor and he and his wife knows who in the pews on Wed. & Sun. is armed and it makes them very comfortable... Stay safe. SS Remember: no firearm can be made accident-proof. A firearm is just a machine, with no judgement of its own. It responds to your actions, whether wise or foolish. The only truly effective safety device is the mind of a cautious shooter who never forgets that a moment’s carelessness can produce permanent tragedy. -
If you did your own reloads, I have 2 Magnus boxes of lead 400ea. 250 gr. RNFP .452 DIA. NO. 902. I would like to have something to shoot these in, all I need is brass & gun. SS

********************************************************** I continued to make these bullets with the lanolin soaked insides and stuck a dry case in to check powder weight several times through process. Took 100 rounds to range 12-13-09 and I shot all of them without any miss fires. Was relieved to see I wasn't going to have to take apart all these rds and start over, they will shoot with moist mixed powder. I know that using carbide dies and pistol brass it's not needed to be lubed but it sure was effortless with it on them, I first thought something broke on press it was moving so smoothly. SS

Did I score ? Traded even, my Taurus 85 SS Ultra-Lite was like new 1 1/2 yr. old approx. 200 rds. shot through it. Colt DS II is a 1997 Matte Stainless looks brand new with 2 tiny nicks on barrel tip. Does any one know how many were made? Has a low serial # I read they were made for 2 yrs. 97-98.

TNT, Thats where I get my bullets also in MJ , a little higher than on line but I can have them in my hand and be home reloading in 15 mins. I read on TGO that the wait from Zero was not as long as they post on line, I might give them a try just to see if it's 6 + weeks wait time. SS

TNT, I have a box of 500 .45 Zero's on the bench now. They are less expensive, did you buy on line? If so how long did it take to get shipped to you? SS
