I have been wanting to get her one for a while but the only store around here that had them was Gander Mt and they never had the nitron only the rosewood grip or an equinox and then they wanted 50-100 more than anyone else.Just happened to call a local shop I deal with ocassionaly and he one with the laser and you know the rest of the story.....

I didnt think the sig was all that scary looking.

This was my exact thought when I first opened the thread up.They did a comparision of it to a steyer 338 and it was extremely close in comparision.

Picked up a new 1911 today to add to the collection.Its a Kimber Pro SIS used but in good shape

I love mine especially with the slim line vz operators II grips I put on it.

What about the sig 1911? Or are you wanting a carry size 1911? I have been looking at carry sizes also and probably going to get a Kimber Pro SIS.

True but I just wanted to clarify cause I did some checking when I got home last night.

Yes its a mil spec I got duped by the place I bought it from and they are no longer in business.The box it came in was for a loaded by part number on box according to Springfield Armorys website.So lesson learned.

Im looking at Kimber pro SIS or a Kimber Pro Tle/Rl II.I like the stainless pro tle/rl II but Im not a fan of guns other than black or darker color

Stop by a local shop today and they had a Kimber Pro Satinless TLE/RE II.I liked it alot felt nice just need to gather a few more chips.

I agree I think I can wait till they get more towards the msrp range

So I have have went all 1911 except for my one wheel gun.I rotate them out but I have been wanting to go smaller since all mine are full size.I woud like to stay on the 1911 platform.Just curious what some of you all carry.Thanks PS-- I am no brand basher since I own a springer loaded,sig tacops,and dan wesson pointman7

My first 1911 was a Springer Loaded which I still have and shoot.I also have a Dan Wesson pointman 7 that was pre company swap.I just picked up a Sig 1911 TacOps that I carry now.But be warned 1911s are to guys what shoes are to women.
