  1. Amen to that brother! God is good and is risen indeed! Happy Easter to all.
  2. I'm not in there! WooHoo! Stuff like this is usually based off phone company records and other stuff like facebook. Which is why I only have a cell phone and refuse to use Facebook.
  3. Thanks to Gary for the awsome little pistol, smooth transaction, and for meeting me halfway!
  4. A co-worker of mine is moving to D.C. and was about to rent a house from an American couple who said they were living in Nigeria and were looking for a semi-permanent house sitter. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I was too and told her the same. Run! :panic:These folks were pretty good though cause they never said the word "wire" or anything and even had a local phone number which she actually talked to someone on. Fortunately, she called the realtor for that area and found out the house was for sale, not rent, and has no previous owner. I'm just wondering if anyone else has any good scam stories?
  5. You know the media folks love Biden. All they have to do is point a mic at the guy and they'll end up with some useless drivel. I wonder if people even know the original meaning of the F word? "To hit something repeatedly." Kinda takes the relevance out of a lot of cussin doesn't it?
  6. I'm in but don't know of any private land around that we could use. I'm sure there is though.
  7. I was thinking it'd be easier to mount on the other end. Plus, I'm pretty sure the tail wouldn't be an issue once you pulled the trigger.
  8. Can anyone tell me about the reliability and shootability of a Kel-Tec PF9 as well as it's size compared to various sub-compacts such as the Taurus Slim? Oh and if anyone in the Knoxville area has one and would be willing to let me shoot it or just hold it, I'd bring the bullets!
  9. Plans for production of this supressor were "scratched" after testing proved...ineffective. http://www.lamebook.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/FridayPhotos6.jpg
  10. I once heard about a woman who sold her husban's Corvette for a dollar cause she was divorcing him. I wonder if this woman would take a buck for it just to get the evil piece of metal away from her little ones. Than, if the guy doesn't know about it, sell it back to him for a "premium". (Evil laugh) JK. I'd sell it back for a buck and watch the fallout with the missus.
  11. Ooooh! Oooooh! I finally got to use it! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/29048-point-shooting-does-work.html JK! I'm just jealous cause your thread will probably get more replies than mine! And yes, I do practice it, and think it is a very valuable skill.
  12. +1 I highly suggest the Grand Canyon. However, I will say it is worth the money to go on one of the tours that many people offer. Yes it's around $100 a person but they pay for your park entry fee and feed you lunch. Plus our guide knew which lookout points were the busiest and which ones weren't depending on the time of day so we NEVER had to wait to get to the edge and always parked in one of the adjacent lots, NOT a mile down the road. Trust me, these facts alone made it well worth our money. Oh and they took us to the Painted Desert too on the way back. That's a nice place to visit too. Just take a camera!
  13. It is usually best to notify them just so that they are expecting it. Some require it, some don't. I use Ace Hardware in Oliver Springs which only charges a total of $30 for everything, transfer and background check.
  14. Well welcome to TGO and I'm sure you'll be able to find a "little" info about reloading here
  15. I highly reccomend the comp-tac minotaur IWB. I have an XD-M and have no trouble concealing it. Yes the grip is large, but I guess it would depend on your size on how much it prints.
  16. Hah! Now I can justify to my wife why I never throw anything away. "It could be used by terrorists honey!" If you throw away your console, the terrorists have won -- Engadget
  17. I'm addicted to the smell of Pine-Sol. Does that count?
  18. Either Austin's Tennessee Firearms in Oak Ridge or the Ace Hardware in Oliver springs. Both are very easy to deal with. Ace Hardware is $20 for the transfer and $10 for the check but I'm not sure what Austin's charges. I think it's around the same price.
  19. I have the Mark III Hunter and love it! I've been using a cheap Barska Red Dot that does ok in-doors. I'm thinking about a scope to replace it though. I also have the ultimate (cringe) clip loader and it works really well. Makes it a snap to blow through a 550 count box of Federals so be careful! The gun is very heavy buts makes target shooting a snap due to very little recoil. Plus, it's a snazzy lookin gun.
  20. People here know this and would surely have them out of reach of the little ones but it's the panic inducing idiots out there that would have a field day filing all sorts of child endangerment charges because of that pic. I do, however, like the comment below it.
  21. I like the collection. Just don't think it's wise to put the kid in the pic too for the whole world to see! http://www.lamebook.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/PhridayPhotos1.jpg
  22. Just buy her a Hasselblad and she'll be happy! Hasselblad | H3DII-50MS Medium Format Digital SLR | 70390533
