  1. Cash it out and buy yourself a hamburger. JK sorry. Either way you look at it, it's not gonna amount to much once you move it around. I'm not saying $700 isn't a lot of money, trust me, but in today's market of IRA's and 401k's, it's not a lot of money. I would just ask your current financial institution to transfer it for you into your new one and try not to be too depressed about it.
  2. Canon Rebel XS is a good model in that range too. Oh and check out www.dpreview.com. It's an awsome site that will let you compare different cameras and accessories.
  3. Did he eat the sucker off the floor? That always works!
  4. So I've been itching to do some modding on my Mark III and am trying to get some opinions on what I should do first. Should I get the accurizing kit I've seen online first and then look at grips? And if I go with the kit, do I really need all the extras or should I just go with a new trigger and sear and forget about the mainspring housing which I've read can cause misfires? The kit is made by Volsquartsen.
  5. Or any number of politician's faces...(hand slap) sorry I gotta be nice...
  6. A friend of mine once went to Russia on a mission trip. The first thing they taught him how to say in Russian was, "Dont shoot! I know secrets!" True story Turns out, the only thing he remembers how to say now is, "I like to play with fire." Odd chap that one.
  7. I've wondered the same thing. I'm not saying this is true, but I'm sure there would be people that would take personalization of a piece as a sign of misplaced attachment to a deadly weapon and other such bologne. Personally, legal issues aside, I wouldn't use a piece of art like some of the guns I've seen on here and other sites as my EDC anyway. Too much risk of damage or confiscation of the piece.
  8. Dubba da dubba da da...nnnnngggggghhhhhhh!
  9. I just emailed them for a definite price but was only able to find some guestimates online. Anywhere from 2000 to 6000ish depending on the size and options you want is what people are saying.
  10. Anybody else seen these yet? I don't even have near enough guns to fill it up but I think I'll make a good try for it! Revolutionary New Gun Safes from Pendleton Safe Company
  11. This is why I don't believe in RELIGION. I believe in TRUTH. The truth of God's love and sacrifice for us will never change. It's mankind that messes everything up when we start trying to interpret our version of truth. Fortunately, God's truth is out of reach of anything mankind can try to do to it.
  12. I'd have to second DRO's opinion of the Mepro's. I just had a set installed on my XD-M and they are very bright and easy to see in the daylight as well.
  13. Supposedly till May 17th. But Beta's have been known to be extended from time to time.
  14. If you are, is it just me, or is anyone else finding it dull so far? Maybe I'm not giving it enough of a chance but I just can't seem to get that into it.
  15. That's a sharp lookin collection you got there. -Sorry, had to say it.
  16. From donteatmybrain.com Q: What happens to zombies underwater? A: I think I’ve already addressed this somewhere, but everyone seems fascinated by the idea. Look, they can’t swim, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. They can barely WALK. That said, water certainly isn’t going to prevent them from chasing after you. I imagine they’d just walk on the bottom, so you’d be pretty much safe until you got to shallow waters, or until it was so crowded down there that they inadvertently made a zombie ladder up to your vulnerable little boat. The other thing is it’s definitely better than them being out of water, since they’ll not only rot faster but get nibbled on by fish and maybe some sharks if you’re lucky. Always vigilant people, always vigilant.
  17. Problem is, he's no longer employed there for reasons I'm unaware of. I'm just not sure if the marks will come off or if I'll need to find something to cover them with.
  18. I just had some Meprolight sights installed on my XD-m at a local gunshop. Turns out, the guy had more than a little trouble installing them since the sight channels are so tight and had to use a hammer and punch to get them in. He said he broke three sight presses getting the factory sights off. Everything turned out ok but there are some greenish looking marks on the side of the sights that the punch left in the process of installation. My question is, "Is this normal and if so, what can I do to remove these marks if anything?" Thanks.
  19. Hmm...having to get a number ID to be able to get food. Where have I heard this before?
  20. Wonder what he thinks of the current president since he seemed to hate Bush so much?
  21. Edit- Oh wait, tribbles don't need water. My bad!
