I've been wanting a hunting pistol for a while now and came across the Taurus 608 with a ported 6''barrel. I've been reading reviews that are about 50/50 on whether it's a good gun or not and how reliable/unreliable a Taurus revolver is and blah blah blah.... I figured I'd get some opinions and thoughts from you guys here whom I trust a whole lot more than some random review blog. Thoughts and comments anyone?

Welcome to Mutt Muffs! Anyone here know if these really work? I would like to take my dog with us when the family goes out to shoot and have been wondering if the dog would need anything for hearing protection? Any thoughts?

Yeah the bugs are definitely annoying but fortunately Bethesda said they are aware and are planning a patch release very soon. The most annoying one I've found so far is the invisible weapons. Grr.... -Edit: Patch is out for the PC. TBA for PS3 and 360

They sell a do it yourself bookshelf kit for $1000 that is very tempting. It fits in any regular doorway and comes with the motor and everything else you need. Oh the possibilites.

I guess this could still be loosely considered an accessory but check out some of the products on www.hiddenpassageway.com Seems like they'd make for a great gun room or hideaway.

Just started playing New Vegas and can already tell I'm gonna like it. What other game makes a distinction between "plinking ammo" and +P rounds and specifies the rate at which they will corrode and break down your weapons? Gotta love it.

The line just to get into the new section was over 4 hours long the first day so we came back the second day an hour before the park opened and still had to wait 2 hours. Then we had to wait all over again to get into the separate attractions. It was worth it, but I would like to go again once things settle down.

I know we have a few threads discussing different aspects of Kahr's but I couldn't find one specifically talking about problems with reliability. I've noticed people talking about problems with things such as reassembly, FTF's, and other assorted issues with early model PM9's. I'm basically wondering if newer models have had these problems worked out or if some people just got some bad runs from the factory? I currently have a Kel-tec PF9 but am unhappy with the trigger pull and am looking ino getting a Kahr PM9. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on your endevors. However, since the Ruger's are all friction fit, I wouldn't take it totally apart everytime you shoot it just so things don't get too loose too soon. Now that you're feeling more confident, you can move on to installing the accurizing kit from Volquartsen!

I carry a 4.5'' XDM 9mm IWB no problem. However, this winter, I may go OWB to see how comfy that is.
