  1. This is why I always carry a spare picnic basket with me into the woods. Hey boo boo!
  2. The driver was quoted as saying, "Aw nuts."
  3. Soooo many things wrong with this. Set limits? Really? "Ok so you can rob me but no touchy touchy mister!" Our country may not be perfect but GOD BLESS AMERICA!
  4. Just thought I'd share a good, level headed article on TSA policies and shortcomings. Why the TSA Practices Could Result In Public Rebellion or a Terrorist Attack
  5. On my right is my manager who'd I'd gladly throw and on my left is my stapler with which I'd use to give em both a few good whacks for good measure!
  6. This soldier is a client of ours at the bank I work at. Just found out that he has stage four cancer and is having to raffle off his mustang to raise money for his medical bills. I am attaching two links. The first is to the news story and the second is to the donation page. I know this guy personally and never would have known about his condition from his personality and manor that he's had when he comes into the bank. Here's a chance for someone to win a wonderful prize and support a servant of our country and his family in the process. I will tell you now that if I win, I will hand the keys straight back to him but I can't speak for everyone. However, no matter what you do, it is going to a good cause. Spread the word folks. Tell everyone you can! Former Marine raising money to battle his cancer JOHN FOURNIQUET CANCER FUND - John fourniquet;cancer- Eventbrite
  7. Ok, after getting him to clarify, here's the real story. He sent in the money for the ticket before he realized he could get it thrown out. It was the process of getting it thrown out that his lazy butt couldn't handle. So I stand corrected and guilty of providing erronious examples. My bad! Always check your facts!
  8. Good point there cause he did have to pay fees and it was going to be too much trouble to try to avoid them. He wasn't employed at the time cause he's a slacker so that wasn't a factor! Hey that kinda rhymes. But I see whatcha mean.
  9. Mawidge.........mawidge is wot bwings us togedderrrrrrr.....
  10. That's how it's supossed to work. However, I have personally seen a friend's ticket photo where the pic was snapped while both the yellow and red were lit. He got it thrown out but how many other times has this happened and someone not noticed? Sure it was probably a miscalibration but if it can happen once it can happen twice.
  11. Makes you wonder how many times people brought in "paraphernalia" to make them include it on the sign. "No sir, I'm not happy to see you. Why do you ask?"
  12. I can assure you that the PF9 is a wonderful choice! Perfect balance of size vs. cailber. Fits in your pocket perfectly and accepts a laser sight if ya feel like gettin fancy. Kicks like a mule though so it's not a range gun. Strictly self defense.
  13. The government's keepin a seequit...shhhhhhh
  14. One word....pressure. I know of a highway patrolman that came across a man unconscious in his pick-up truck on the side of the road one morning. He noticed a .357 laying next to him on the seat. When revived, the man said that he had been trying to shoot something in a field from the inside of his truck but didn't remember anything after that. They concluded that the pressure from the shot knocked him unconscious since he only had one window rolled down. I would say that this is why the shot inside the tank affected him so badly and not under the tank. But you're right, it'd be pretty durn loud either way.
  15. So I've been looking at different hunting pistols for a while now and was looking at a Taurus 608 6'' model. However, due to reading various accounts of limited durability in the long term I went looking some more and came accross the Ruger gp-100. I've read nothing but good stuff about this pistol and am wondering if anyone can give me an idea as to its durability and it's effectiveness as a hunting pistol compared to the 608? It just doesn't look as kewl as the Taurus but I can get over that....I guess (sigh)
  16. I still don't know of a single person who'd be willing to stand in front of my 9mm versus a .40 so I think I'll stick with my 9mm DPX ammo and let it do it's thang.
  17. Isn't he using a Taurus 608? And don't those have an eight shot cylinder? That's what was going thorugh my head. Then again, I couldn't really see very well since my Weimariner decided to start going bonkers while trying to watch so it could have been a S&W. I'll have to check it out again on DVR.
  18. I like to go to ORSA with a friend and throw our own when the clubs aren't shooting. Granted you have to either be a member or be with a member but I wouldn't mind taking ya'll a couple times to see if you like it. Who knows? Ya might join!
  19. Um, How Do I Get From Japan to China Again?
