  1. It's hot outside...but in my mouth it's much much cooler! Sorry just had to say it.
  2. Just walked outside for a sec and all I have to say is, "It's hotter than two rats makin' whoopie in a wool sock out there!"
  3. I get what you're sayin. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not trying to be fast or trying to beat him to the draw. But I can at least give them something to worry about (me firing back) and not let them get in a cheap shot with me standing there with a surprised look on my face. In my book, as soon as you point a deadly weapon at me, I have no idea and no responsibility to know if you intend to ever "use" it. Once you become a threat to me, you've already passed the point of no return. I can't guarantee you're not going to harm me, whether I comply or not, so my only option is to try to permenantly end the threat you are posing.
  4. What's to say they won't shoot you anyway? You just wasted twenty bucks. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/58461-people-who-say-just-give-them-what-they-want.html
  5. Bleh, this is also true. Fortunately here in Oak Ridge the two we have take pretty good care of themselves most of time.
  6. I work at a bank inside a Walmart and I'll just say, "Yes, people do wear this stuff and yes, there are much much scarier things in a Walmart than an armed citizen. I feel the need to bleach my eyes at least twice a day."
  7. I agree with you mostly but I have come to the conclusion that I'm not going to let other people dictate how I can or can't live my life. If I want to walk into a place instead of feeling forced to only use the drive through I will walk in. I know that there are ways to lessen the threat of being a target and all but I'm not about to let some lazy lowlife criminal force me out of my freedom and rights. Sorry went on a little rant there.
  8. I'd say something along the lines of, "Ok let me get my wallet." Except I wouldn't pull out my wallet.
  9. Holy cow! $200 isn't bad for a lifetime of hunting or fishing. Mine just turned two months so I'll have to look into that as well.
  10. A tumor that could provide the key to making zombies
  11. I've got it sitting on the DVR but haven't watched it yet. I did hear though that one of the characters made a distinction between a "clip" and a "mag" so I'm lookin forward to it!
  12. I've never met an officer that would let anyone touch his issued firearm.
  13. Check out the product at this link. ThinkGeek :: sugru Hacking Putty I'm thinking this could make some awsome custom molded grips. Can anyone think of any other applications for the wide world of firearms?
  14. This is why I will never just give someone what they want, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Man Killed, Woman Shot In Home Invasion - Jacksonville News Story - WJXT Jacksonville "....even though there were signs that they complied."
  15. True as well. However, some of us just really really like zombies and sometimes catch ourselves really hoping for an outbreak just to be able to test ourselves. Infantile? Maybe...but didn't Jesus say you had to become like little children? Plus, how else can I justifiy my 900 rounds of 9mm to my wife???
  16. ^ This And the fact that it takes stakes to kill Vampires, sliver bullets to kill werewolves (so only reloaders have any chance of affording an appropriate defense), and aliens have force fields (cheaters)....but bullets and zombies go together like peanut butter and jelly.
  17. It sure did and the gist of my response was anytime you get time I can make time cause any time is a great time to shoot!
  18. Everyone on here knows I'm an ORSA fan but I'll say it again. If you want a tour or go shooting out there sometime just let me know!
  19. Mythbuster stuck a gun in an oven and had to crank it up to around 500 degrees before rounds started cooking off. If it gets that hot in your car I'd worry more about the setbelt buckle burning off my nippy as it goes by than my gun.
  20. I can't believe the owner of the pits said the guy should have never fired because his life wasn't in danger! Bologne!
  21. He probably thought he'd go out in a blaze of glory but when when the bullets started hitting home things got real in a hurry and he changed his mind. Nicely done officers!
