  1. I went ahead and sent Starbucks this email: I have recently heard about the upcoming Valentine's Day boycot of your stores by the National Gun Victims Action Council. They claim that your policy of not infringing on a person's constitutional right to bear arms endangers your clientele. However, these beliefs are not based on any factual or rational information and only serve to further endanger our constitutional freedoms. I won't waste your time quoting facts or statistics of which I'm sure you are already aware. However, I am writing this letter to let you know that I, and many other gun owners, thank you for upholding our rights as Americans and promise to continue to do business with your company. Word is spreading, not only of the boycot, but of your company's stance on our constitutional rights and the importance they have on our continued freedom as a nation. I think I speak for gun owners across the nation when I say thank you and keep up the good work!
  2. Looks good enough to make your tongue slap your brains out!
  3. Not to be a party pooper but isn't it illegal to hunt hogs now in TN? Not that anyone needs an excuse for owning an AR but I just didn't know if the laws had been revoked or something.
  4. Welcome! If you want to make your own shooting range just get a piece of land outside the city limits somewhere and get a couple dump trucks of dirt, grab your "assault weapon" with your high capacity magazines and shoot into the resulting pile! Or you can do what I do and sit on the swing on the front porch of your in-laws house and just shoot out into the woods and let the recoil rock you to sleep.

  7. Heh. "Sometimes their victims shot back." Poor wittle gang members.........are da mean mean people shootin back at you?
  8. This ^^^ Mine shoots like a dream though after I replaced my trigger and sear. Plus it's very good education. Good luck!

  10. My uncle was a masterchief in the navy and was able to introduce my dad and I to the Blue Angels pilots about 17 years ago. Some of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Back then they were able to let me sit in the cockpit of one of their planes. I could just picture what it would have been like to go up in one. In fact, it's still one of my dreams to be able to take one for a spin.
  11. Love my Mark III Hunter. I put a red dot on it and replaced the trigger and sear with Volquartzens and I can say that would be the only things I'd add to another one.
  12. It looks pretty good. Could you possibly post a list of the features that make it better in your eyes? Maybe that would help us decide. For example: Is it easier to post pics on the new site? Are there customizable color schemes for each user? Is there more storage for PM's and the like? Is it more stable? Does it auto-ban dummies who like to troll? Just a thought and thanks for all your hard work David!
  13. CCA has gotten a lot better with thier customer service, mainly due to getting rid of a couple bad eggs and hiring some people with better CS skills. Yeah some of them can still come off a little arrogant but you're gonna find people like that anywhere you go. At least they don't have anybody like Frontier Firearms who laugh and scoff at you when you ask for .22 Wolf Match ammo and say, "Wolf Match ammo? How is that gonna be accurate?" As to thier pricing, all I can say is, if you think it's too high, ask for a better price. I know for a fact that they will haggle and will work with you on payment options. I've bought my last two firearms from CCA and have not regretted it.
  14. I honestly like the $25 set of electronic muffs from Walmart. I was sceptical at first but they work really well. They're not low profile however so those Caldwells listed above might be just the ticket for you. I can't use plugs due to some ear canal issues so I'm a muff only man. Sorry couldn't resist!
  15. So she wouldn't have shot if she was alone and didn't have her baby? I wonder if they quoted her right on that?
  16. Be careful with the "one shot takedown" mentality. I personally wouldn't pause after the first shot just so see if they're gonna stop. I always hope I never have to shoot, but if I do, it's gonna be more than one anyway, no matter what caliber.
  17. I found mine at Coal Creek here in Knoxville but they said I basically just got lucky. They aren't expecting any more until later in 2012. But it would never hurt to ask!
  18. That's what I've got my eye on!
  19. Well folks this thing is slicker n' snot! Got everything put together and took it to the range yesterday. I posted the best 5 shot group of the day but I know it can do better once I get some match ammo as this group was with Wally World CCI Mini Mags at 50 yards. The hit on the bottom right was not a part of this grouping. Oh and sorry for the mess in the background but our house was Christmas workshop central for a few days making decorations. I'll update once I get some quailty ammo.
  20. Congrats! Now try finding the safety detent ball and spring from a Ruger Mark III when it shoots out onto the floor. Then add in your crazy Weimariner who's trying to find it before you do and then talk to me about stress! Anyway I digress. Happy shooting!
  21. Words outta my mouth B Nuts....words outta my mouth
  22. Are you wanting a scope or a red dot? If a red dot, then I'd go with a truglo of some sort. I've got an open sight red dot on my mark III and it works great. Scopes however Im not that familiar with.
  23. Me too! But then again I also think most other 20 somethings are idiots too! Present company excluded
