I couldn't believe what I was seeing... PG-13 warning!

I think the saying, "Happiness is like a boy who pees his pants. Everyone can see it but only he can feel its warmth." applies here. -
Cleaning suppressors
And it releases lead acetate, a very dangerous chemicaol that seeps into the groundwater. It also crosses the blood brain barrier and is one of the mst cancer causing agents known to man. As far as cleaning I owuld not worry about it unless you notice a substantial increase in report. Dolomtie
I acutally had a guy tell me he just flushes the "dip" down the toilet when he's done with it. I was like WTH man! But it is Oak Ridge so it probably can't get any worse. Having said this, I still plan to use the "dip" once I get my sparrow but only every few thousand rounds or so and I will definitely make sure I am wearing the proper attire and using the proper materials for storage. I have a friend in the health care business that deals with hazardous waste and can hook me up with protective clothing and storage containers. But as to what to use on aluminum tubes I can't offer any advice to the original question. -
you guys would faint if you would see what goes on in Amsterdam everyday off the beaten path.. Rather disturbing... but drugs and homelessness is a big problem there
For some reason this reminds me of the movie "The Other Guys" and what the homeless people do in his car. -
Lori had the baby in her arms when she was shot. She wasn't pregnant.
Ah dangit that's right! Shot through the stomach and hit the baby. Rough stuff!

My wife used to work at Kohl's department store a few years ago and got a page over the intercom to come to the security office immediately. Sorta surprised her so she finished folding the towels and went to the back. Security pulls her in and tells her some guy was following her around the isles while masturbating into a towel behind her back. Can't begin to tell you how bad I wanted to rip that animals head off but the cops took care of him quick. After this, nothing shocks me anymore. -
In the books the only two that are safe are Rick and Carl. In the book the Governor killed Lori and the baby. His people saw him do it and turned on him. I wonder now where that story line will go. Also what Michoen does to the Gov. in the book cannot be put on TV. I wonder how that will develop
Actually one of the townspeople shot Lori, realized she was pregnant, shot the Governor, and fed him to the walkers because he told all the townspeople that Lori and the group were violent animals that were a threat to their safety. But Tomayto Tomahto

ebook / ereader question for those that use them
gnmwilliams replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
Kindle libraries are stored in the cloud so you can access them anywhere from any device. I can read a few pages on my iPhones kindle app and pick it up where I left off on my IPad kindle app then read a little online while I'm at work. Not that I'd ever do that but you get my drift. -
Just wanted to share a great expreience and a great product! Kydex OWB XDs holster and a custom horizontal mag pouch. I emailed Stephen and asked if he could make me a horizontal mag holder and he said he'd never done that before but was willing to try and I think it turned out great! Can't post pics from work but I can email anyone who wants to see.

Latest Class III: Guesses on Wait Time
gnmwilliams replied to Semiauto's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
My check was just cashed today the 31rst. I mailed it Friday the 26th......should I get my hopes up??? -
Yep it sure does. I'll be honest and say that I'm frequently guilty of taking things for granted and constantly have to remind myself of why I have the freedoms that I have. Memorials such as these only help to remind me even more of the sacrifice and blood mixed into the foundation of our country. I look at the money invested in things like this as an investment into educating people about our country's heritage, one of which I look forward to teaching to my sons. Plus I know of a TON of worse ways to squander our tax dollars. But don't get me started.

Really sad story. No matter what people say, this is why I carry at church. You just never know. This man was beaten to death with a friggin electric guitar! This world is losing it.
-
I'd say it's not just about honoring the fallen dead but also about educating the American people about how much importance we place, or should place, on our fallen soldiers. I imagine the average tourist knows nothing about what the tomb is for. But by visiting or even looking it up online, maybe they will be able to appreciate just what kind of sacrifice our soldiers are willing to make everyday. So I guess you could say the tomb not only honors the fallen with all the pomp and circumstance in the cermonies and guard, but also by educating the masses so that the unknown are never truly forgotten.

Yeah man it really keeps your gear up. (Snicker)

Plus with the beltman belts I can tell people I'm wearing an internal stiffener.
-
Definitely the belt. I'm carrying my xds in an OWB RKBA Kydex holster and it doesn't budge an inch with my beltman gunbelt.
-
Yeah. Just a drain on my patience and sanity.

permanently attaching a suppressor?
gnmwilliams replied to a topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I'd think it'd be kinda hard to clean a permanently attached suppressor. I'd just bite down and get another stamp. Be a whole lot easier in the long run. -
It's always something isn't it? Hope everyone is ok.

Black talons are the evil black rifles of the ammunition world. I've heard that the Ranger T's are very simlilar. They just don't have the black tips. And they're cheaper.

So many things I could say but I won't!

Im wondering more about how he has his belt threaded through it. Isn't it suppossed to go under the holster? Or have I been totally wrong all these years?
-
I know, I know, dangerous way to title a thread but is the guy in the picture for this article wearing his holster correctly? Wouldn't that eat up a lot of his belt length? http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/honing-the-concealed-carry-mindset/

Just ordered a pistol from the folks over at Joeboboutfitters and thought I'd give them a shout out for their awesome service and super fast responses to my questions. Seriously, after having dealt with many people out there and been through numerous customer support systems I can honestly tell you that Joeboboutfitters has been the fastest and best to deal with IMHO. I thought maybe we could use this thread for others to praise our TGO vendors and thank them for their great work.
