1. I don't know if it would pass honestly. I don't know if its just the area I live in but most people I've spoken with seem to blame the man, not the guns. I think people are starting to realize how twisted the media is and are getting tired of it. Most of the people I know are more upset with the way the media has turned the shooter into a star and less about the fact he used guns to do it. We need to communicate to our representation that this is a mental health issue, not a gun issue like mentioned before.
2. Normally I'd say guns will never fire without the trigger being pulled but then again, it is a high point :) Jk Jk I jest. Maybe.
3. Yep. Just do a search for Bath Michigan Massacre. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_School_disaster   -Oh, and it was done with explosives, not guns.
4.
It's ding dong ditching... My brother did it while in high school, but never after 10ish.  It's the equivalent to making prank phone calls for the older generation and I would say harmless.  Are all teenagers like my brother and perfectly harmless, no, but be creative and play a fun little prank and have a good laugh.
Somebody'd be ditching their own ding dong if I caught them doing this. You know how hard it is to get a toddler to sleep?
5.
I have mixed emotions about this tragedy.  It breaks my heart, and I feel absolutely terrible for the families and children.  I don't even have the words to express my sympathy.   The reason I said I have mixed emotions about this is because I am also absolutely livid at politicians like Bloomberg.  What kind of f***ing human being does it take to exploit this tragedy to push some bull**** agenda?  I guarantee you there are some who probably celebrated over this because they see opportunity.  It is just sickening.
I wouldn't use the term "human being" to describe Bloomberg myself
6. You surrender to something so dark and so evil that normal people can't and aren't really meant to understand what motivates them. Evil on a scale such that to even attempt to comprehend it's depths only serves to leave you feeling even more dirty and with even less understanding than you began with. I don't even try anymore. I just realize that we live in a broken world with broken people and nothing will be perfect until I walk with my maker. Until then, I will continue to love those I hold dear, try to love those I don't, pray for the ones beyond help, but do my best to end those who threaten.
7. I can only hope that the people who actually make the descisions can keep a level head long enough to realize that any amount of gun control would not have avoided this. If they didn't have guns they could have just blown up the whole place. In a way, this should be the final straw. We need to communicate to our leaders that we've had enough of being disarmed and made helpless in "gun free" zones like this. We need to communicate to our leaders that the only way to avoid these types of tragedies in the future is to not have fewer guns, but to stop removing guns from the hands of responsible and trained citizens in "gun free" zones such as these. This is the only way that maniacs like this can be put down before they can cause so much damage. This is the message I will politely communicate to those I will surely have the "What do you think about guns now huh?" conversations with and I hope that those of you who feel the same way will respond as such.
8. Sadly the media will never even discuss this option. To borrow a quote from another forum, "Too many people mistake coffins for soap boxes." I just hope that by some miracle, this swings entirely the other way now that our society is a little more firendly to the gun culture and that there will be some level headed people out there that will bring these points mentioned above to people's ears.
9. What about one of those drive way motion sensor alarms? Put this somewhere where it won't cause false alarms and you could be waiting for them by the time they make it to the door.   http://www.harborfreight.com/wireless-driveway-alert-system-93068.html
10. And we all know how good smoking and drinking is for a child in the womb. Some of them grow up to be the ones I see at Walmart everyday, yelling and screaming at their kids or their baby daddy, wearing pajama jeans showing half their crack or other tid bits that have no reason to see the light of day. Sorry, I'm calm now. Walmart wears on you over time. :)
11. Rock salt claymore? Meh. It was worth a shot.
12.   Man it would stink to get soaked on nights as cold as they've been here lately. I'd sacrifice one night of sleep to lay in wait with the water hose and let em try to run home in sopping wet clothes.
13. It apparently is. Like I said in another post, I'm starting to realize that many people can't think rationally or logically and literally have to reprogram their brains. If you don't grow up around guns and have been raised in a society that constantly tells you that somehow your life isn't worth as much as someone elses than it's no wonder that these people can't grasp the concept of an individual's right to freedom and self preservation. I wouldn't even say it's the being raised around guns that helps people understand this but at it's most fundamental level it's the being raised with the mindset of providing and doing for yourself and not depending on someone else to protect and provide for you. Even if guns didn't exist I'd own a knife, or if no knives, a big stick for self defense. People have been brain washed into thinking that somehow they have less of a right to something, like survival, than anybody else.
14. Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel. :)
15. I just shot Diet Coke up my nose! ROFL. Im reminded of this T-Shirt I almost bought once.
16. Sorry if this has been posted before. I couldn't find anything. Seems to be an honest, open minded piece that isn't slanted one way or another. Plus, the smile on her face after shooting those rifles totally gives her away. 17. It's sad that people died in this and I know it was a "gun free" zone but I keep reading people's testimonies of stuff like, "I felt so helpless" and "All I could do was hide and cry, and pray" and I just can't wrap my brain around why people choose to continue to feel this way. My brain just doesn't work that way. If you don't want to feel helpless do something about it! If you don't want to be stuck peeing yourself in a corner, just waiting to be slaughtered, do something about it! I'm not saying I'd be the guy to chase after the gunman but I sure as heck wouldn't make myself an easy target if he got between me and the door. Sorry for the rant. It just gets my goat to see all these people with the "woe is me" attitudes and that there's nothing they can do about it. Arm yourselves!
18. Heh heh heh now that's quiet! I watched a video from silencerco comparing the sparrow to a slap in the face. The shot was only 2db louder than the slap at 116db.
19.   An even $100 with the thread protector. About a two week turn around time.
20.   Good to know. Here in the middle of Oak Ridge youi gotta be sneaky sneaky. They don't take too kindly to any sort of projectile weapon being fired. Although I was told, off the record, by the Sherrif that, "You should even be able to fire that without anyone noticing." Like the judge will take that into consideration if I'm caught.
21. I want one!   http://www.guns.com/2012/12/11/reminder-get-you-and-yours-tactical-stockings/
