  1. i use a water based noncaustic cleaner its a white dry powder mix with water works great . then sometimes i run it in a big rubber mixer the seceret it to use very fine media so it dont get in primer pockets
  2. i know steel case ammo is ok but i would rather reload my own it shoots better in my rifle
  3. but you can buy primer seal for about 3.00 a bottle cutting fingernail polish workd but i like the green sealer

  5. the davidson county sportsmens club has a very nice range.its small but nice the club meeting is tomorrow night if you can come out and take a look .its about 270 yards long and in davidson county.membership is closed but if you want to join you could get on the waiting list
  6. i seal mine for long term storage and when hunting in alaska for everyday reloading no i just load it and shoot it i dont think it matters much but it make me feel better to do it that way
  7. i make my slings too easy and cheap i can make a good single point sling for about 5.00 in about 15 min.

  14. i just heard for one of my bullet dist. by email today montana gold.tomorrow there would be an across the board price increase of about 14% this is due to fuel cost. primers already went up .went down to cool springs today to buy hornady ammo acadeny sports had 9mm and 40 cheaper than i can buy it wholesale so i stocked up they were already ott of 45.i think nost folks on here know that i am in the reloading supply buisness and i am not trying to sell anything here but you better stock up while you can . the price of stuff today is high but from what i gather from suppliers its going to get much worse.by the way i stocked up on ammo for me i dont sell i just shoot it
  15. i drove a truck for a long time saw way too many
  16. hornady makes a 35 grain fmj as well as a xtp both are good bullets. i have a 25 acp single shot rifle it came from germany shoots real good inside of 50 yards great to plink with. i reload it with both of the hornady bullets as well as cast great fun gun

  20. guess i am lucky .i was driving a truck around town when host of the printers changed from linotype to ibm .i was able to haul tons of it home over a 2-3 year time i cast alot of rifle bullets out of pure linotype can drive most big bores just as fast as anything else.i paper patch alot of bullets as well ;when i load pistol bullets i cut the lino half and half with lead sheets that are just about pure comes out about 13-14 brenell.i cast my 75mm and 35 mm out of zinc i bought it in clarksville several years ago also my black oowder morter shoots bowling balls too many people live around me any more to shoot it very often.last year during the flood i was the only one around i shot the snot out of it and watched for the splash
