  1. buy an old remington with either no letter prefix or an a or b prefix i prefer a long action even for 308 but each his own. then put a good barrel on it if you want a top of the line sinper rifle it wont have a factory barrel on it i like hart but there again each his own. put a good stock on it i like mcmillen and a good triger i like jewell then optics nightforce seems to be the rage right now i still like my super sniper or leupold then you will have a state of the art sniper rifle btw dont take my word for it ask kenny jarret or the folks at ft benning thats what they use old remingtons with hart barrels and jewell trigers

  3. yes it was but why cant nashville have a better place for gunshows .louisville little rock birmingham atlanta even the expo at knoxville nashville just has bad places for gunshows

  5. the biggest problem is the dollar its not worth much .anything being imported is gonna cost lots more in the future i dont buy guns wholesale but i do buy reloading supplies anything being imported is going up way up so if you want your glocks and sigs you better buy now.i go to gunshows all over the cheapest place to get glocks is sling point firearms in lexington ky no one else is even close
  6. yep bobby pope ruined it when he wanted you to join his club to get in on friday.its also very hard to set up on a dirt floor but the a/c works.week before last i went to batesville ms for a gunshow building is just like the ag center but they take out the dirt concrete floor under the dirt just like franklins ag center but they wont take out the dirt.

  8. no ac in the building rex does a better show just needs to get it a/c ed also no electricty for the vendors so no fan i am suprised that codes will let them have a gunshow there because of the wireing.we wont even talk about the restrooms yea i go i make money but i would like a better place the fairgrounds are not any better in the restroom area but the a/c works
  9. i have been talking to other vendors about giving back your parking money i dont know how many will do it but if you spend 50 dollars at my place i will give you parking money back. i havent been to a nashville gunshow in a while so i am looking foward to this weekend stop by and say hello .also the davidson county sportsmens club is having there fish fry this weekend at the club on eatons creek road.the fish fry starts at 6 pm the sportsman swap meet starts at noon sometimes some really good buys
  10. dan the machine gun man from cleveland tn is the best with fals i have ever known.i have several including 1 i bought in 79 i think from an importer in birmingham al its on a form 4 back when full auto was cheaper

  12. i had an ok show i like the fact that the county put it on.i do about 75 gunshows a year all over the country all the others are by prometers.sure there was lots of stuff there other than guns but the people that came seemed to have a good time and the bbq was great .i hope to be there again next year .
  13. nashville melts them down about 2 times a year i cried along time after watching a boss double being thrown in the foundry
  14. i think it has been a pretty good show so far .i really like the fact that it is put on by the county .with as many cities that want to do away with gunshows i think the its great
  15. i like winchester 101s they are a little harder to fimd but imo worth the effort
  16. i bailed out a long time ago bought ammo and powder it has been a good investment for me as cash just keeps droping more and more
  17. the sad thing is we are going to get 4 more years of this crap

  21. you only have to buy 1 box it can be a 1.99 box of 22 ammo.he does have a very good 1911 i have bought 2 of them they fir me very well .i dont shoot at anybodys indoor range i shoot in my yard.as i understand it the store has been sold and in the future uselton will just be a mfg.
  22. there will be a gun show in crossville this weekend at the fairgrounds in crossville.i will be there if you are comming you had best come early as the hwy 127 flea market is this weekend .as everyone on here knows i sell reloading stuff and if you tell me you are a member i will give you a little better deal .i have been having some health problems as as my son in laws dony shoot i will be starting to sell a collection of guns that i have been building for 45 years i will have some of them at this show they need to be in the hands of people that will shoot them
  23. some times i shoot my civil war morter 6 0z of black powder will send a bowling ball way down the river i live on the river i used to shoot it a lot i guess thats why i wear hearing aids
