  6. what it said was heavy bullet for caliber ie75 grain in 223,180 in 357 i don't think the study i read was 20 years old i will look for it but the most important thing about it is shoot what you carry but as the thompson leguard test confirmed bigger bullets do a better job granted this testing was donea long time ago but it still has merit today
  7. i haven't worn levis for years i stopped when levi had the flap with the boy scouts about 15 years ago
  8. the latest fbi study says don't put much stock in temp, cavitys because they don't produce actual tissue destruction which is why they went to a heavier for caiber bullet ie 147 grain 9mm 180 grain 40 and 230 grain 45
  9. check out the thompson leguard test that will tell you most
  10. hydra shok black talon which was the best by a long shot gold dot it expanded pretty good as well i used to work for a powder company in there lab all testing was done under lab conditions i still have most of the data it all proves one thing there is no magic bullet its all about bullet placement there were lots of other bullets teated but the 3 above were the best at the time tested although the 230 ball was the best overall performer
  11. Nashville Match Masters in Columbia Last Chance Range
  12. the rainier hollow point bullets are just the round nose or flat point bullets just ran through a die with a punch in it.they are made like a speer gold dot rainer calls it a restrike bullet as you bought them from me if you are not pleased with them for any reason please bring the unused bullets back for a full refund i was very busy this weekend and must have handed you the wrong box
  13. nothing wrong with 230 ball in a 45. most of the expanding bullets in a 45 acp dont work very well any how. try it your self i have tested most of the hollow point bullets on the market and after 10 to 15 yards they don't expand very well .load your own much cheaper

But ,for the reloader I have 14 presses set up from a Hollywood Auto to a Herters a CPM which is IMO the best progressive press ever made if you have one you know what I mean. Have a few Dillons I cast alot of bullets both rifle and pistol if you want to learn let me know Ihave found that old solid core doors make the best reoading benches. 22. What is wrong with buying and selling for profit most of us are not backed by the goverment .When times are good and if you are a builder you buy lumber at the lumber yard then sell it for more or in the summer you might charge more to cut grass .Let the free market work it will solve all market issues .I have not bought 1 round of ammo since the election I have reloaded alot but several years ago I started stocking up not only on shooting stuff but food and other things as well all of this jumping on folks that bought at WalMart if you don't want to buy from them don't thats easy but by all means stock up on the things you like that someone else can control just my thoughts
