That's what turned me off about the new full-size trucks. They keep getting bigger and bigger but they aren't making the roads, parking spots and garages any bigger to accommodate them. My '08 Ram is a full size truck but today's mid-sized trucks are close in size to the older full-sized ones. As for compact trucks, the Maverick is an option.

I've seen some awesome rigs that people built but they are too expensive for me to do. One guy's rig was around 30k and that wasn't including the truck.

Back around Labor Day, I ended up buying a used 2021 Tacoma to be my new daily driver. It is the TRD Offroad trim. Aside from some of the usual complaints I've read about the 3rd gen Tacos (tranny likes to hunt for gears, cramped back seat, etc), I really like it. I'm kinda hoping it snows at some point so I can play in it some with 4WD. I've also been thinking of trying overlanding one day. I'd love to visit Moab, UT from some of the videos I've watched from people taking their Tacos and 4Runners there. I doubt I'll ever will since that would be a long drive..lol. The older Toyotas have a reputation for being reliable and capable and that's one reason I went with one. I have a coworker that still has a late 90's 4Runner with over 600k miles on it and it still runs like a champ . Does anyone on here drive a Taco and if so, what are your thoughts/experiences with yours?

My neighbors had heard what sounded like a woman scream about an hour prior but didn't think much of it. It was thought that he had killed a woman but the latest news report is that the he decapitated his dad with a knife. He was covered in blood and ran up to a neighbor doing yard work saying his dad was trying to kill him. I watched as the police arrested him at gunpoint and other officers trying to kick the front door of his house open. They went around to the unlocked back door and found the body inside. It's just a totally sad situation. I feel for the family. I also feel for the detectives who have to notify the next of kin. I'm sure it never gets any easier for them no matter how many investigations they have been a part of.

The police are still on scene. Detectives and CSI were there for a few hours. They taped off the street for a while so no one could get in or out of my street since it's a dead end street. I never thought I'd see something like this in my lifetime but you never know what life has in store for you.

Does anyone have any experience with the NEBO Redline Torchy 2K? I picked one up yesterday on Amazon after reading some reviews on them. Prayers for a full and speedy recovery

Been looking into getting an Overwatch Precision trigger shoe with included trigger bar for my Gen 5 Glock 19. I wanted to switch from the stock curved trigger to a flat face one. At the same time I don't want to change the 5.5# pull weight if possible. The Overwatch seems like it may fit the bill. Does anyone have any experience with one? What are your thoughts?

I had some Cabela points saved up and thought I'd use them on something at my local Bass Pro. I was wanting to get a new multitool for EDC and ended up gettimg the Leatherman Wave+. It has 18 tools. I read it is one of their most popular items. I like it so far. The blades can be opened one-handed which is nice. Anyone on here who has one? What are your likes and dislikes on it?

Mountain Jam is on that album I think. 34 minutes of pure musical bliss. I think Les Brers in A Minor is also on there. It's another great tune.

I mostly own Glocks but since I got my Shield Plus, it has been my primary carry gun due concealability and ammo capacity with the extended mag. The trigger is pretty good too.
