Yep homer had quite a collection. Bet he never used as much ammo back then as we do now.

I have a few boxes of .22 ammo when TG&Y was still in business. Some i inheirited from my uncle. Still shoots the same.   Just wish they were still $1.00 a box ( still have the pricestickers on them).

It is elusive everywhere. .22 ammo in all forms except rat/bird shot. I went to Larry's pistol and Pawn down in Huntsville today, did see a supply of .22 ammo in 525 bulk for $24 a pack, limit one per customer per day though.   They have plenty 9mm, 380, .40, 7.62, .45 ammo in stock. Just limiting the ammount you can buy per day. Got to give themsome respect for that. At least they aren't like Gander mtn, where they had 10 cases of .22 come in, 3 people ahead of me bought all in stock.  I personally hope these people just buying stuff to hoard or resell, this hoopla blows upin their faces. (not literally, but i hope they get to a point where they can't sell it for anymore than they paid for it).   Eventually things will get back to normal, or near normal.

I stay out of the deep mud when I can. Usually ride Bryants cove, Windrock or IronGap. Though I am a member of NATRA now. They have land cose to Westpoint TN and it only costs $50 per family to ride there.   If only it were closer, i'd be out there most weekends.   Have rode at Hale mountain before, just a bit too rocky for me.   I thought about selling mine and getting a sxs but i'll wait a bit longer. A new one costs about as much as a new car.

How much do you need? I was in Larry's Pistol and Pawn this morning. He had a lot of 7.62 ammo in stock. I went looking for the ever elusive .223 but what he had of that was way overpriced.   Also had .22 in 525 round boxes, limit one per customer per day.   I got my 9mm, some gold saber rounds( $16 a box) and some .22 ( finally).   Now all i need is more .223( target shooting) or a .22 bolt conversion kit.

Where do you ride? what do you ride? Mine's a 2008 outlander 650 max xt. Paid for and have almost everything i need out on the trails.

Same here, I only carry for snakes, the poisonous ones that slither and the 2 legged ones.

I know one of the security guys personally, Not from his exact words but if you have it, don't show it. Don't do any target shooting or stupid stuff... But i digress, most of the people i see up there riding without a helmet and drunk off their asses are more capable of doing something stupid.   FYI, They once allowed hunting on the property( I know, I saw all the orange vests and hunters parked close to the trails.) I have personally rode there while hunting was going on. An to think some hunters say atvs run their deer off. I call BS on that one. Beings that place is open 24/7/365, the deer are used to it.   With 72,000 acres, 2 guys patrolling can't cover the whole area all the time.   Now when they have big events like their spring and fall jamborees, When they have the atv events in the event area, they'll search your cooler for beer and such, make you pour it out or take it back to your campsite. I haven't seen them do a search for weapons, but don't give them an excuse to do so.

I'm not saying something like this will happen anytime soon. But if things go as they are going....who knows. This type of rebellion should be held for when all options have run out.   I did see where this movie clip was set someplace in Texas, I figure they felt since Texas was so far from Washington and almost like it's own country, Most of the sheeple wouldn't be able to put 2 and 2 together.   Maybe they felt it would appeal to the texans better. I don't know.   A friend of mine who lives in CT and has property in Athens TN, asked me about this. He has told me he plans on moving down here permanently in a few years. I see if things come to pass, he'll move a lot sooner.   And i first met him on the can-am forum i'm with.

Well, maybe we TGO members need to get some gear, Hint hint, David.... lol     I'd love to have some shirts with the TGO emblem or at least a hat.   At least so we might break the ice better when we come across each other. And when we have these rallies, get the word out about the forum. Maybe drum up new members.   The more people we have on our side, the better in the long run.

I was there, videoing and trying to keep my flag up. I'll post what vids I took maybe tomorrow. Just got home a few minutes ago. Had to go to Bass pro ( of course) and pick up a few things.  Had a good time today, met Punisher and SeeBeeJason at the rally and met the guys doing the "Nashville Lead" podcast. I was the guy in the Predators hat with the 2 cameras and a flag( the one we said the pledge to at the bottom of the steps.   Wish I could have stayed longer but there will be other rallies. Maybe next one we have there will be greater word out and more in attendance. I would like to see a few more different speakers on the 2nd amendment and our rights.  

I was at Dunham's in Tullahoma last weekend. They only had (3) boxes of 9mm and all over priced. No .22 or .223/5.56 to be found though. Even the cheap steel cased ammo is scarce. I hope ammo goes back to usual asap. Sick of this crap.

Did find some 9mm carry rounds online ( though $26 for 20 rounds). Haven't bought anything else since before november. I look whenever i'm in a wal-mart or out in a sporting store or gs, but i don't buy. If i ever find the elusive .223 or .22 at a decent price, I'll snatch some up.

Well, originally i had planned on riding this weekend ( atvs) but with the flood stage where I ride, i figure i can ride any other time. This is more important. I plan on being there and am Bringing an American flag on a pole since i don't have a sign.   I would advise someone to bring a camera or several people bring cameras so we can get this out on youtube and post for those who cannot make the event. I'll try to remember to bring my go pro.

Politicians like that don't do public transportation. He's rich, runs New York and thinks he knows what is best for everyone.   As much as we would like to see him depart the earth, when the gun ban fails, Seeing his face and the failure of the Obama Administration on AWB#2 would be better.   I hope congress has the balls to stand up to the "telepromptor reading, Hypocritical, Socialist,Better than the rest of us POS" Obama is.

I was in walmart last night and the shelves were bare. Never seen it this bad before( but if it were, i never paid attention to any ammo shortage before). Luckily i stocked up during the summer. Have been looking online for ammo and they seem to only have the more expensive match grade ammo available.
