Elk river just below the Tims ford dam. Excellent trout fishing from the dam to Old Mill Ford.   I work with a couple fishermen who say now is the time. Thinking about getting my fishing gear out again soon.

Apparently, those officers are misinformed about the (round allowed in chamber) in a permit holders handgun.   If this is true, and that happened, then the officers are wrong.

  Apparently cuz, you've never been in a high atv traffic area before.  I've come within 20 feet of deer on my can-am and they didn't move. Just stood there like we was in cars on the road.   But most places i have rode that have high ohv traffic, the wildlife move around, just don't leave.   But to answer the op. Yes hunting is more than likely going to be banned at Windrock OHV park.  From my very good source, one of the head guys up there has allowed hunting in the past but since it is mainly a Mining operation with atv/ohv use as a side income( soon to overcome the mining income when the gas and coal are gone), I believe the safety issue with hunting around a lot more atv use than any hunting use will force the owners to close further hunting access on said property. They just cannot afford any increaced liability issue. The safety of their customers comes first.   I don't know for sure but per my well placed source, it probably is going to happen.

Picked up one box .223 ammo tonight at WM. They had 2 boxes,one other guy waiting, we split the 2.   Anybody ever heard of Tullammo Braxxmax? $16.97 a box .......of 50.   Seen the most ammount of ammo at wal-mart since this nonsense began.   Well, my target ammo is slowly becoming replenished. Little by little, bit by bit.

Now, atv camping i can do. Just not the hiking/camping part. I used to hike and camp, but got out of that once i got into my other hobbies.

I agree with the above post. I don't camp in the winter.  Have to carry enoughto keep warm, and still not carry too much or it gets heavy.   Maybe look into a lightweight tyveck/thermal bag to use with your current bag. I have one and it gets hot but allows your feet to breathe.

Loaded, ready to go. Now if you have kids, still wouldn't leave em out for the kids to get ahold of.   All my guns are loaded, just not all have rounds in the chamber.

No bad thing in buying something for a gun you don't have. I once accidentally bought 20 gauge shotgun shells ( and I have a 12 gauge) but no refunds on ammo from wal-mart. So i keep them for barter later on or help a friend out who needs them. I may eventually get a 20 gauge one day. Till then, they stay with my stash.   If you have the money and may need it later on, who cares if you bought something for something you don't have yet. No biggie.

Would it be better for everyone if they had a Gay BSA separate from the BSA? I'm not homophobic, but i know a lot of parents are uncomfortable having gay children around their children.   Oh, wait they did that with segregation back before my time. I don't think it should matter if a person is gay or not, just because someone is gay dosen't mean they are interested in the straight kids.   When i was in scouts we never had this problem. If there was a problem, it was hid very well.

How do you think those in power, stay in power? They are the so called "masters", do as they say and not as they do. For the Nanny state knows what is best for us and when we are dependent on government for security, it gives government an excuse for existing.   The more people realize they do not need government for everything, the less powerful government becomes.

Boy cott them like businesses that don't allow handgun carry. Might not make much of a dent, but if we had enough people boycotting the anti-gun actors( hypocrites) it might make them see there are more of us( private gun owners) than actors and actresses. Without the public to support them, they wouldn't be where they are.   I'm boycotting Jim Carrey for simply his wanting to repeal the second amendment.

I am aware of the hack, but about anything can be hacked. I think this is an alternative for those who don't want to use paypal and don't always have a credit card handy. Some people are still skeptical of buying things online with a credit card. CVS, Walgreens and some banks even will let you buy Bitcoins from them and have them deposited in your account.   I just got the bitcoin wallet, going to try to get some next pay period.

Least it wasnt all the expensive brass. I didn't shoot my ar that much, trying to conserve what i have, till this ammo shortage ordeal is closer to pre election times.

Of the few times a year i visit my brother in Atlanta ( lawyer brother, so that is one plus) i never had a problem carrying. Though i know not to carry 2 places after visiting the CNN center and the world of coke ( before i ever got a pistol or permit). Didn't know about the marta carry allow. thanks. I usually have a guide when i'm down there anyways.

Oh, it was you then. I guess i shouldhave introduced myself. ( green durango) I had my s&w AR, my .22 semi-auto rifle and my 2 pistols with me. We was on the pistolrange and heard the rapid fire of an automatic. I should have come over and watched ( but getting someone into handguns). Maybe next time.

I was there today. Met a few people around 1 p.m. I did see one person with a Barett 50 cal and heard him shooting a couple full auto rifles while i was shooting at the pistol range.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far.   2, 5-gallon cans is enough for the lawn work( lasts me a couple weeks). And i won't buy gas here in Lincoln county simply because the prices are 10-20 cents more a gallon than in Hazel Green or Tullahoma.   Since I'm usually out of town most weekends anyways, I fill up when out of town. The only good thing about the winter, is i don't use much gas( no mowing needed).   But my atving( when i can ride) has 2 (flatpacks) of fuel. Have never needed more than one on a ride and these do have a separate venting spigot. www.rotopax.com

Oh, the new carb compliant gas can spouts. I hate them too. Never can get them to work without leaking and they are supposed to be leak proof. You can buy the old spouts some places.
