I know, i just don't have the funds to be a benefactor right now. I was however understanding Private sales are allowed. Admin or mod, please take in mind i didn't mean to ruffle any feathers on this. Any further inqueries should be made via Private Messaging.

I stay in middle TN, rarely go west, rarely go east. When I do, I'll try to keep the ammo on me. All my other guns I have plenty ammo for. Not enough to go to the range every day but enough for when I need it.

Wyldk2 replied to knewcomb's topic in General Chat
I want to see Alexander voted out. Sodo a lot of other Tennesseans after the crap he's voted for. -
Had a very disturbing conversation last night
Wyldk2 replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
Glad I don'tlive there either or one of thes other "liberal" states or areas. Remember, It could happen anywhere. But the LE,troll or whatever can say whatever he wants, think however he wants and believe it all he wants. Until the federal government outlaws the second amendment he and his like minded LE officers can just pound sand or whatever. But i can guarantee this, once that happens, It'll be worse than the first "civil war". I agree most in LE are good, its the 10% that make them all look bad. -
Giving? who said i was giving it away? I don't even have a .380 I just want what i got in it. I'll be in Tullahoma tomorrow and for at least a week.

Is there a universal concealed carry emblem or symbol?
Wyldk2 replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
As far as decals or signs, There is one I'm sure that would work. A bullseye, since having any sort of emblem or decal letting someone know you are a HCP holder is just one and the same. Conceal means conceal( you don't want anyone to see you or know you carry). Open carry, it is your right but I wouldn't want anyone to get a heads up to that either. -
Well, these expensive planes and armaments keep plenty people employed. What would be better, having more unemployment or having a few extra fighter jets. My dad has been working "testing" the air-forces jets and missiles for the past 38 years. Even tested the space shuttle back in the late 70's-early 80's. Thing that irks me is POTUS calls for sequestration and still he's spending our tax dollars like there's no tomorrow.

I have 100rounds of .380 ammo. And I don't own a .380. Bought it for a friend a couple months ago and she ended up getting something else. I paid $20 a box of 50. Anyone needing ammo?

Mike, Deep water isn't fun on a sport quad ( especially when the water is cold and it is early spring).
-
I would go with a 4x4 option. ( maybe a on the fly option). I have never had a non-4x4 atv. since the trail conditions change all the time, you never know when you're going to need it. Sport quads are ok, just last time i rode with a bumnch of guys on sport quads while they were following my Outlander 650 max, Riding Bryant's cove near Tracy city, they got into a little more than they could handle on the trails. One guy even vowed to get a 4x4 as soon as he could. Having 4x4 i like having a gun, you may never need it, but i would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have.

And the best engine dodge made. The 318 v8. I have one in my durango and still going strong.

Lester, I have less than an acre and yet i have a 650 cc outlander max( longer wheelbase) I have to trailer to ride most places. Have had to use my winch on my atv to pull my lawn tractor out of a ditch once. And pulled out a couple small trees with my winch. If you ever decide on a winch, a waterproof one is worth it's weight in gold. Like oohhh and Patton said, for light use, keep a reciever mounted one covered from the elements and it will last you a long time. Plus be ready for when you need it. Having one that is easy for you to remove makes it less a target for thieves as well.
-
Mike, You ain't the only one. I'm only left handed to write, everything else is right handed. Though in a pinch I'm sure i could fire one of my handguns with the left hand.

Forgot about the tactor Idea. Medium sized tractor would be best.

If you ever get a winch, I would recommend a synthetic line. Rather than cable, synthetic line won't take your head off if it breaks. It floats and is easier to work with. I replaced the steel cable with AMsteel synthetic winch line a few years ago on my warn atv winch. I haven't had a problem yet. A good winch accessory kit( you can get a snatch block(pulley) and a couple clevis and be all set. Also, I don't know the weight of the logs you have but you might want to anchor your jeep just to keep it from sliding( if you go with a winch). Going from personal experience. And you can get longer winch line if you need it. The AMsteel stuff compacts so it may allow a winch to have more line on it. I'm sure you migh be able to find someone with logging experience using mules. If not, I'm sure a couple atvs would be able to help.

Your best defensive position is stay in the vehicle. Drive to a police station if someone decides to follow you.( road rage). It isn't worth it to stop and have a few words with someone if he/she feels you are driving like a maniac. Justy looking at someone wrong can instigate some people into wanting a fight. Luckily for me, I have never been in a situation where someone tried to get me to pull over and have words out. I carry every day and will keep oncarrying until i am either not able to or dead.

The government did what most of us suspected of it doing and it was proven by Snowden when he blew the whistle on them. He may be a traitor in the eyes of those in government but Obama, Pelosi, Feinstien, Cuomo and most of those votong or striving for more gun control are traitors in us gun owner's eyes. The federal government does what it thinks is best for us, whether we like it or not. Society has been brainwashed into thinking Snowden is a traitor. But if you knew your government was doing something wrong and you had the evidence to prove it, would you? Most wouldn't, but if you have nothing else to lose, you might.

I actually was victimized a few years ago. Went riding( bicycle) at Hamilton Creek park. Stupid me left my wallet in the center console and a camera case out in the passenger seat. I have tinted windows so i didn't think anyone would see at the time. They (MNPD) never caught the crooks but a few months down the road they called me and i did get a few items in my wallet back. Luckily i caught the breakin in time, stopped all credit cards i had at that time and i had some money stashed in the car for times like this. Won't let it happen again though, but the crooks will strike wherever and whenever they can. Wish we could defend property like we can defend our lives. I really hate thieves.

http://www.discountjeepparts.com/ http://www.jcwhitney.com/jeep-parts-jeep-accessories/j4s2.jcwx Just a few sites i would recommend. You can always get a replacement rear reciever hitch ( about anywhere) if you really want. For heavy duty dragging( logs) i would go with the reciever hitch and then use a hitch/hook/clevis device. If an atv can haul a log out of the woods, a Jeep wrangler most definately can. As for winches, I would want it reinforced on the front bumper, in other words connected to the frame. I wouldn't chance it being just to the factory bumper. Check the connections first and then go from there. A winch is like having a gun, when you need one and you don't have one, you wish you had one. I never had one before i got an atv, Now i wouldn'tbe without one. But you don't have to have a winch to drag logs. Youprobably can get by just using the factory hooks on the front. Just make sure they are reinforced to the frame.

Well, I got laid off yesterday. Looking for a new job
Wyldk2 replied to Wyldk2's topic in General Chat
Well, I decided to sell myhouse and look for a job in Tullahoma. Applied like forever to plenty of places. But first call back was last friday. Had an Interview today and they said they will call me for the drug test. So things may be looking up. I get to move back home, since my dad is retiring later this year I need to be close if there is a problem. Plus his house is so big, Makes plenty of sense for me to move back. Fayetteville has nothing for me, i have some friends there but realized it is a sinkhole on any sort of social life. Now all i need to do is pack, clean and put the house on the market soon. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll be ready. -
Ruled out a zero turn mower have you? Well i can agree that they can be expensive( some tractor types are just as expensive). I just got thru with the maintenence on my Cub cadet 1720 ( 46" cut). Maintenence isn't that bad, some places harder to reach than others. Probably takes me 45 minutes to mow my .84 acre of land. Mine is an open space, yet a little slope of a hill. As for your needs, since i see you have a couple hills, you might consider something with a Hydrostactic transmission.

Congrats, I'm still looking myself but got interviews this coming week.

Well, since it was in my hometownand i had nothing muchto do today, I checked out the Southern Wheels in motion car show today. Even got my picture taken with John Schnider ( Bo Duke) of "Dukes of Hazzard" fame. Plenty of cool cars there today, a couple interesting modded out cars and most cars i wouldn't turn down if someone gave me one. It was hot, but plenty of shade. Saw a few people openly carrying, but i conceal. TPD was out providing security for the VIP. In other words I had a great day.

I don't have many rules. Just if anyone rides with there will be no: Smoking, illegal substances Touching the radio unless i grant permission Touching the A/C or heater unless i grant permission. If you bring something into my SUV, bring it with you when you go. No muddyclothes in the truck, I have beach towels for that.
