  1. Congratulations!
  2. PM sent
  3. rope. tree. poacher. some assembly required.
  4. Agreed. With that much fat on him I doubt that's a wild hog. Idiots like this give hunters a bad name.
  5. Love the Ruger #1's... great rifle. Enjoy!
  6. The turkeys on my property disappeared as well. I haven't seen any for weeks.

Nice... and very nice photos as well.
  8. One slight negative on this ammo... on big game, the copper jacket separates from the lead core pretty consistently. It's still very effective and accurate, but I usually find bits of copper when I field dress an animal.
  9. I'd love to sign up for this price if anyone gets this going.
  10. You don't have to worry about finding a blood trail or tracking the deer very far... they rarely make it more than fifty yards or so.
  11. Very nice. Congrats.
  12. .45-70 is a great deer rifle... you'll want to upgrade the recoil pad, but it'll do the trick just fine. I really like it for hunting in heavy brush... a couple of branches between you and your target... simply not a problem.
  13. Better dead than zed!
  14. I've used it extensively in .45/70. In that caliber it's very reliable ammo.
  15. For a nice steak (with prices to match) I recommend the Palm or Flemings. You can't miss with either one. If you are wanting to stick to a budget then you need go no further than La Hacienda (beware the 64 oz margarita). For more midrange eateries I recommend Noshville (deli), Midtown Cafe, Kens (Japanese), Browns Diner (meat and 3), Swetts (meat and 3), Bricktops, Rotiers (meat and three)... and for a taste of old Nashville, the Elliston Place Soda Shop. I eat out a lot, so if you let me know what kind of food you like I can make other suggestions. As for attractions, don't forget the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Frist Museum, the Tennessee state museum and Cheekwood are all good stops.
  16. Well said, sir.
  17. I have to agree. I've carried this knife all over the world and it's never let me down.
  18. Nice deer! Congrats.
  19. My wife had the same problem until she got the FNP9... for whatever reason, it's easier for her to rack.
  20. Sorry. Had the wrong link.. try this: careers
  21. My company needs people! Are you a marketing or advertising professional who would like to work in the firearms industry? Do you have experience as a military recruiter? Are you a talented web programmer or designer? If so, I've got a great job for you. Several openings are already posted and more will be coming soon. iostudio
  22. Benelli M2 is absolutely the bomb. Expensive as hell, but extremely reliable and very handy in close quarters. I'm with McGuyver on this one... shoot the Benelli and it'll change the way you look at all other shotguns.
  23. I go the other way altogether... high end Italian. It's a bit pricey, but it's a truly awesome shotgun. Benelli Shotguns | Benelli M2 Tactical
  24. Well, isn't that.... special.
