  1. Free tickets are available online here
  2. "These groups should be closely monitored, with resources adequate to the task, even if it means shifting some homeland security money from the hunt for foreign terrorists." So they are now worried about white guys who own guns then actual terrorist who say they want to kill us! Makes me think of 2 Thessalonians 2 11-12: "11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness."
  3. My friend sent his auto lower to Shrike for a custom fit. I think that's what they want you to do when you buy a new one.

    Bulk AR lowers?

Got in on the PSA deal. They have been in stock several times in the past few days. Keep checking. No buy limit that I saw.
  5. I shot one on a full auto lower a few weeks ago. It's half the weight of a SAW and is a lot of fun to shoot.
  6. I took my permit class 2 weeks before I turned 21 and applied for my permit and bought my first pistol on my 21st birthday. That was in 1999.
  7. If he was buying a firearm without intending to keep it, he commited a crime. Why hasn't he been arrested for a straw purchase. He is buying the firearm for the police department and not himself right?
  8. That would be worth doing. Any options worth doing for adding a magazine to the 700?
  9. Nickel Boron is worth the money in my opinion. I have two from Spikes and they make life much easier when it's time to do the dirty work.
  10. SBSing my Saiga is on the list. Never considered SBRing my bolt gun.....until now.
  11. Look for signs on the door. If its not posted, should be GTG. Might be packing too if not posted.
  12. Here is the 9" AAC upper with the same YHM can.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ02fD52kvQ   This one is a pistol until I file with the feds to get it sbr'd. If you listen carefully you can hear a second "whomp" sound in the video after every shot. That's the sound of the bullet striking the berm 25 feet away.   I know crappy quality, but my 6 year old was filming. I think she did a pretty good job.
  13. Who knew throwing 220 grains of pure destruction could be so quiet. I have waited for this rifle for a very long time. I don't even have optics on it yet, but I am very excited about the results so far. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=SjdJwrW1VCg&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DSjdJwrW1VCg%26feature%3Dyoutube_gdata_player
  14. Just finished the third Enemies Foreign and Domestic by Matthew Bracken. Written by a real Navy Seal and man I could not put it down. His first book is almost a transcript of what's happening in Washington after Newtown. He wrote the first of the series in 2003 and it starts out about a massacre at a stadium that leads to all the political crap we are seeing right now. It's almost prophetic.
  15. I must have opted out of the spam. I do get emails from the NRA, but not too much on spam.
  16. Anybody heard about the NPS Expo in Nashville this weekend? Saturday and Sunday next to the gun show at the fairgrounds. Gonna be lots of preparedness vendors and manufacturers there to talk about and sell products.  16 demonstrations/speakers each day. And Doomsday Preppers will be doing a casting call for all those folks who want to tell the world how and where you plan to survive.   I'll be at my Tn Tactical Supply booth. Come by and say hi.
  17. I buy Spikes when I can, but S&W did an awesome job with customer support for an AR that had some issues.
  18. This day and age you are better off trading for hard to find items that have been hyperinflated due to the political arena. For instance, I was at the gun show and saw a vendor with some Saiga 12 drums for $249 each. I had a couple of Glock 33 round mags I was looking to get rid of. I only had $60 between the two of them, but traded straight up for a drum that even in November sold for $99. The vendor was happy and so was I. I think it also has to do with people understanding what there items are now worth, but being too ashamed to utter a $400 price for a stripped lower or $50 for a bulk box of 22lr.
  19. I thought I was sitting pretty until I kept shooting at my old rate without replenishing. Now I'm gonna have to take it easy on .22.
  20. I'm just glad my wife has finally stopped asking "why do you need all this ammo?" She has stopped making a horrible face when I find the occasional deal and hit the debit card.
  21. I ordered G17 mags from Midway a couple days ago. Just got confirmation they are on the truck for delivery.
  22. Single stack .40 with a 35 round mag would be cool.
  23. My wife did RAD put on by my local PD. http://www.rad-systems.com/
  24. The fake Eotechs don't hold zero most of the time. Might be ok for a 22, but they sell a cheap Eotech just for 22s. I am an authorized Eotech dealer and TGO vendor. Shoot me a PM. I can beat $402 and have several in stock.
