  1. I agree, but there are far too many people who buy a firearm and set it in the safe waiting for the worst to happen. 3 years later they reach for it wondering if they got it out of the truck after last weekends shoot and did they ever top off the magazine or put one in the chamber. The average American is not practicing speed reloads in the mirror or expecting to miss the first 5 shots from 9 feet away. The bottom line is it makes the average Joe less safe. Lets not even talk about when your wife has to reach for the gun while your away. She will likley be with the kids behind her and one hand dialing 911.
  2. He should be arrested for felony gun possession for sure, but there was not enough information in the article to say terrorist. I think he is a guy with a normal last name taking a wrap of terror to take the eyes off the real terrorist in this country.
  3. BRAVO! I don't think congress or any government official thinks about a gun as a tool of protection and therefore can't get what it's all about. They only see it as a tool of mass destruction.
  4. That's more common then you would believe. The next time some group calls your house to ask for a donation for a fire department or police department ask what the overhead expenses are. There might be some out there with less, but I have never been told less then 70%. One guy called to raise money to buy cops bullet proof vests. He said the overhead expenses were 85%. That means every $20 you give $3 gets to the bullet proof vests. That doesnt even take into account the backroom deals and kick backs on buying the actual vests. Not all of them are scams, but I am surprised every time one of these organizations call the house and tell me the numbers.

    IHeartRadio

I use Iheart Radio for streaming talk radio when I can't get the station I want.
  6. They said he had Molotov cocktails. I'm wondering if they found beer bottles and a can of gasoline in the shed. They reported "suspected pipe bombs." Not real sure what that is. Either it's a pipe full of gun powder or it ain't.
  7. If we bury him we run the risk of giving supporters a spot to gather and pray. Out to sea or undisclosed location is the only option. Would not put it past Obama to give him a memorial spot near ground zero at the new mosque.
  8. Yeah, your probably right.
  9. We could probably win a grammar war with Georgia.
  10. Looks good. I have shot it and it's a smooth shooter too.
  11. I sold wakeboard items on EBay and Amazon from 2004-2008. Sold over $100,000 per year the last three years. It was a part time gig and made some decent extra money at it. I eventually sold the business on Craigslist. I basically sold him my list of contacts for getting started and my inventory. You really have to know what your looking at for random yard sale stuff, but if you want to put in the time I'm sure there is money to be made. START SMALL AND MAKE SURE IT'S GONNA WORK before you fill your garage and empty your bank. eBay was worth it for me and I still sell some items there. You pay 15-20% in fees, but you have 10,000% more customers looking at your products. Don't pay more then 50% of what you plan to list used items for and you'll be fine.
  12. What's the wait for Liberty right now?
  13. I was thinking about getting one so I can cast some 300 bullets. It's one of the few take down cans approved for 300 BLK.
  14. I'm in. My concern would be that a family that can't afford a $109 rifle might consider selling that rifle down the road if things get tough. I dont think we can "loan" the rifle, so that is a risk worth taking. There needs to be some kind of education and contract signed by the parent that they will store the riffle locked and out of reach. This awesome idea could quickly become tragic if the parents make a mistake. I have a bag of cable locks. Not sure if they will fit the Crickett.
  15. If I thought I could drop the bad guy to save someone else I would. Might be some consequences later, but I think I would intervene if I thought I could help.   I once saw a shootout reenacted on TV where a cop was shot and pinned down on a highway with traffic wizzing by. Don't remember if the cop survived, but always wondered if I would drive straight for the BG to save the officer if I could figure out what was happening in time to react.
  16. I'll donate 200 rounds of .22lr ammo per rifle that is given away.
  17. Walmart has a pink one in Union City.
  18. My child's pink Crickett has never even been seen by a minor without me there. She doesn't know where it or any other weapon is and if she did figure out where to look there would be a combination to get past. It's complete lunacy that a mother lets a child sit in the front seat of a car with no seat belt and she is charged and held responsible if something terrible happens. When a gun is involved it's on the manufacturer or store or even gun owners. When are we going to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH? What will it take to hold the media responsible for the misinformation and lies?
  19. Don't recall. I have a video of me shooting it I need to post it.
  20. Can you zoom out a bit and let us see that h1? And a video the first time you rock a belt on your M16 lower. I just want to see the grin.
  21. The entire world says "don't hold a million Muslims responsible for the actions of a few." Why can't that apply to American gun owners too?
  22. 1. 9" 300 blackout AR suppressed with night scope (full auto optional) 2. 10/22 Charger Pistol suppressed 3. Cold Steel Spetznaz shovel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrE0_jnv4c0
  23. I got some 175gr Sierra Match King pulled bullets from David here on the forum for 125/1000. That was key to getting them down so cheap.
  24. I have my 300blk reloads down to 18 cents. If I can swing a take down suppressor I may start casting to bring them around a nickel a round.
  25. I'm considering SBRing a couple lowers. Depending on timing I may SBR two and have one for 300 blackout and one for 5.56. Depends on fit and finish when I get them.
