  1. I wonder if anybody is adding a rail to the baby Glocks?

    Glock?

I have sold guns to buy Glocks, but I have only sold Glocks to buy other Glocks. Another thing to consider is the number of Glocks in the world. I have heard that Glocks are used by 70-80% of law enforcement. That means there are a ton of them out there. Just a speculation, but I wonder how many Glocks are out there compared to Smith, Ruger, etc. I do know that Glock sold 800,000 pistols in 2008 and were set to beat that in 2009. Anybody have the 2009 numbers?
  4. Charlie has them at his house. He called me last month to say he had them. I forgot to have him bring them down yesterday.
  5. I only know the 9mm and .40 model numbers since those are the calibers I'm interested in. I think people should learn the Glock model numbers when they learn the alphabet in school. It would make things easier when you grow up.
  6. Let's meet at 50 yard rifle. I have a cooler on my tailgate with drinks.
  7. I'll be there rain or shine.
  8. :owned:
  9. Spikes also has the dust cover doors with logos. I think my favorite is "smile wait for flash!"
  10. +1 for iron sights first. As a kid I couldn't afford a scope and in the military it wasn't an option. I think I'm a better shooter for so much time spent on irons.
  11. I think it looks great. Good job.
  12. Yeah, I'm sure I'll have the 23 before too long. I think I'll try to get used to shooting without the pinky extension for that extra concealment. That seems to be the thing that prints on me anyway.
  13. Here she is.
  14. Looks like about 20- 25 other TGOers. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/events-gatherings/48412-middle-tn-owl-hollow-chmr-november-14th-meet-shoot.html
  15. Certainly a keeper. My girlfriend almost 11 years ago bought my first pistol for my 21st birthday. I promptly married her.
  16. Sounds like your a little bitter here. Should we discuss this further?
  17. You did wait way too long. Most of the guys living in their grandmother's basements have already prestiged.

    new pistol

Never had a problem with a Glock. Enjoy!
  19. I agree that if I could only have one Glock it would be the 23. That's why it was my first Glock, fun at the range and good carry. Now I have a 22, 34, and 35. All good range guns, so this one just needs to fit the carry bill. I'm leaning towards the 27. The 26 was very accurate and I like the idea of carrying the smallest thing I can accurately and comfortably shoot. I have 2 concealment holsters that are 27/26 specific too, so save some dough. Thanks for all the input guys.
  20. I did like the 26 and only traded to move to a .40 for CCW. I'm thinking the 27 with pinky extension has to be close to the 23. Then we are talking about less than an inch difference on the slide.
  21. I'm in the market for a Glock. I recently traded my G26 for a G34 intending to buy a 27 to move to .40 as my CCW gun. Now I'm considering a 23. My first Glock was a 23 and it was my primary carry gun. Help me think through the pros and cons. Will most likely make the purchase tomorrow.
  22. How do you like the LCR? I just picked one up, but have not shot it yet. I got the .38. How does the recoil do with .357?
  23. A little far to drive, but would be fun. I was with a buddy rabbit hunting and he shot one with a shotty at about 50 yards. He wouldn't "waste a round" to put it out of it's missery, so I had to put him down.
