Yesterday I got caught trying to get on I-40 East in Nashville. I was already running late and of course 3 cars decided to completely block the intersection so when my light was green I missed it completely. I was 3 cars back and an ambulance comes up behind me. My light was still red, so everyone is trying to make a path by pulling as far into the outer lanes as we can without hitting other cars. The ambulance is very impatient blaring his horn. The light turns green and the first person in my lane goes, but everyone else sits still as if it's illegal to move with an ambulance behind you. If the morons in front of me had moved the ambulance could have easily gotten by. So I missed the second light. And then I get caught on I-65 south With major traffic from a van that caught fire. What a frustrating day!

"it uses the gas tube to launch the projectile" where do they get this stuff? The gas tube is used to push the bolt back for the second shot. If you remove the gas tube the projectile would still launch. They make it sound like the piston comes into contact with the bullet.

I understand there was a warrant. What I don't understand is giving the guy 19 seconds to come to the door before kicking it in and killing him. It takes me 60 seconds to even realize it was the door bell that I heard and another 30-40 to make my way to the door. I don't care what the details were this was excessive. Can anyone give me one reason to not let someone come to the door? I understand they sounded a siren that in my opinion sounds nothing like a police siren. Who is going to hear a siren and within 20 seconds be spread eagle on the floor waiting for the door to be kicked in. There is not one person on this site that can say they would have reacted in any way different than Guerena.

The problem is them using it when you are not at thier house. That is what would be called stealing. If you are watching a movie at your brothers house, I'm certain they don't care.

Mike is right. I took the class and came out with about 15% more knowledge on Glocks than I had going in. It was a good class, but there is just not that much to know about such a simple design. You do get to buy 3 additional Glocks at LE pricing which is nice.

You can call the Nashville PD, give them the serial number and they will do a check over the phone. I used to have the number in my cell. It takes about 5 minutes. For selling or buying I just make sure the buyer or seller has a TN ID of some sort. I don't keep a BOS mostly because I would just lose it anyway. As others have said, there is no requirement to do anything.
