  1. Just like forbidding smoking in businesses, the free market can decide. If it's a huge deal don't shop, eat, or bank with that business. The business should be able to decide what they want in there establishment. I personally hate the slow drive by the front door to see if I need to disarm, but it is the businesses decision.
  2. What do Glocks had to do with a hunting rifle incident? If it's an actual question then the answer is yes.
  3. It works now.
  4. http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpps/news/offbeat/safrican-man-wakes-after-21-hours-in-morgue-fridge-dpgapx-20110725-to_14288102 Is this guy a real life zombie or is his family just that dumb? I'm going with zombie.
  5. What are they calling registered? There is no registration process. The only illegal guns are ones stolen or used in a crime.
  6. There are several places in the firearm law that speak of "intent". Intent to go armed for instance. It's obvious to any sane person that Leonard had an "intent" to prove a point and did so by scaring some people in a park. I wish he would have spent some time in jail!
  7. That was completely out of control. I can understand him being upset when he found the gun and I could not imagine the adrenaline rush that ensued when he did. The cop and dispatcher broke protocol, but I'm certain I would have tried harder to say I had a permit. We could not hear the driver when he was in the vehicle, so maybe he did his best. Do you think he was really picking up a prostitute?
  8. For most crimes they will also use a vehicle. I think a $1 tax on gas is a better plan. I think his $1 tax per bullet would put gun stores in the city out of business. Maybe that's his real plan. Here is a nother piece of liberal drible in his plan:
  9. So 22 weeks is the "magic number" then? Earliest surviving preemie to stay in hospital - Health - Kids and parenting - msnbc.com
  10. I was trying to express his argument for #3 when I almost met an untimely demise to Vacation status. These arguments are very well thought out and I could not put it better myself. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Well if I ever want the correct answer to a question I just scroll down to the legendary -OS signature and you usually have it right. At least it's not 10,000 bump posts or just smiley faces. Thanks for contributing.
  12. Take it easy....maybe it's an Airsoft gun. Hilarious non the less.

    Bill of sale...

I prefer to end the paper trail with a handshake when buying and selling. There is no legal obligation to have a BOS.
  14. At least it points out Obama improving one sector of the national economy.
  15. I think its a good way to learn from mistakes of past threads and clear the air. At least noone is left with hard feelings once it's all talked out. You are correct that not all threads after a ban or thread close are a constructive. I can think of at least one.
  16. I wasn't trying to offend anyone, just making a point. I see your point that maybe someone could consider it name calling. Thanks for not banning me and I will be more carefully next time. It seems like most folks around here have a good time with a debate and that was my intentions, just a debate.
  17. +1
  18. All children have a chance at living a terrible life or not being loved. Let's kill them all before they have a bad life. This argument is used by people who have mommy issues. If someone doesn't want to have a baby go to the health department and get some pills or condoms for free. I don't care what kind of life a person "may have." it's better than having your brains sucked out the back of your skull before you take your first breath. IT'S MURDER!!!!!!!!Why do liberals want to spare the most gruesome murders on death row and murder the most innocent form of life on the planet. I don't get it!
  19. I'm pretty sure that guy is in Obama's sleeper cell just to advance the cause of tyranny.
  20. We should start with everybody pays something and move away from the idea of the people already paying 90% of the bill already. We have countries that owe us money too right? Why can't we sell that debt to China and free up some breathing room. It's also insane that we still pay Hesbilah Billions of dollars a year. WHY?
  21. It says very clearly in the establishment AND consuming OR intoxicated. I think OS is right you can have a drink as long as it's not a bar or restaurant and you are not "intoxicated", but again it comes down to the definition of intoxicated. That's gonna be up to the officer at the scene. Most other firearms laws have a defense if you use your weapon for a valid reason. I see no disclaimer here. If you are intoxicated and have a justifiable shooting do you still get a misdemeanor?
  22. Aim Surplus gets blemished Spikes from time to time for $64. A buddy bought one and it was perfect.
  23. Is there a new army in town or buy 3 get one free at PSA? I can't say too much I guess, just buying 3 myself.
  24. My brother's unit is in Iraq right now. They have been looking for a commemorative weapon to mark their tour. I put them in contact with Spikes Tactical for a custom build. You could spend some time researching which companies do commemorative engraved weapons for units deploying and be the front man state side to coordinate units purchases. Wouldn't cost you anything, but would mean alot to returning soldiers. Maybe knives with unit crest and service dates, etc. Even talk to the manufacturer about giving one weapon to a deserving or injured soldier if "X" number are bought by the unit.
  25. Music City Pawn in Franklin charges $25 including TIC up to 5 on one form for the same price. I just transferred 3 lowers from Aim. If the lowers were transferred to different people, then there is a charge for each person. Check with a pawn shop in Columbia. The two big shops in town charge $50-100 per transfer.
