I was wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts about the Match Rifle ammo? I went shooting last night and was very impressed! The ammo grouped as good as any I shot. I have shot everything from crap all the way up to Wolf Match Extra of which the Aguila matched or beat out. I did notice the smell of the powder was different and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how dirty it may be........have not cleaned my gun yet........I know its a sin. I also wondered about lead fouling since they are not coated bullets as well? Looks like this may be one of the best values out there.......just a little more than bulk ammo.......$31 a brick and less than half of Wolf prices.

Do I have yuor attention...haha? Thanks to a fellow TGO member Garufa for telling me that the 100 yard target may be off. Well I took a range finder with me last night and yes it is off and a great deal. I ranged it at 122 yards.......to us rimfire shooters it was good to know so when we compare our groups to others on line etc we want think we shoot like doodoo (3 year old slang). The 50 yard ranged correctly....the 200 yard was 204 yards and the pistol was 40 yards. I just thought I would let everyone know. If you have a rimfire sighted in for 100 and go up there the odds are you are not going to group as well and shoot a little low. This is not all bad....just makes it us try harder and shoot better......haha.

A buddy of mine just mentioned today that he did not think the 200 yard taget area was not really 200...............being the way I am I will have to walk it off myself...........haha

I would like to shoot decent groups at 200 yards................whatever that may be?

I am giving the SS serious thought....first onmy list for now.

That is probably always going to be the best....try several different loads and bullets to see what my gun likes best. I just want to stay away from stuff that I will be waisting my time with.

I was afraid that I mat sling 55 grain all over the place at 200 yards and above with my twist. It can't hurt to try..........I love to shoot.

I have heard alot about these. Do you think this scope would be good out to 400 yards?? I want to get out to 400 some day and want the scope power to help me out. Thanks

Hello all...........I want to first state that I am very new to the reloading scene. As a matter a fact I will be using a friends set up. I currently want to start shooting 200 yards plus using my CMMG 1 in 7 twist chrome lined 16" AR. Does anyone have any advice for me?? What to do or NOT to do? I intend on buying a bolt action in the future for more serious stuff but want to get started with something I already have. I have only shot at 100 yards with my deer rifle..............7mm Mag.

OK..............so I joined the Norris range and the bug has bitten me. I shot some decent groups at 50 yards with my .22 and now want to shoot 200 yards with my AR. What do you recommend for my flattop including mounts?? I would like to get something a little over powered in case I want to go on out to 400 yards somewhere else. Thanks for any input given.

I just found out a gun is in at Bud's that I had on my wish list. It is the PLR16. Kel-Tec PLR16 .223 Long Range Pistol for Sale at Buds Gun Shop $499.00. I like the high capacity and noise this gun will make......I think? Let me know the pros and cons as you see it. Thanks for any input and please give me a little time before you all buy all that Bud's has in stock .

I couldn't feel any more safe than when I carry. A man pulled a knife on a guy in Walmart here recently and a 21 year old new permit holder defused the situation. You never know when you may need it. I find myself leaving my larger caliber w/IWB holster at home and throwing my Kel-Tec in my pocket more. Congrats on your new found safety and may more and more people enjoy our freedom.............for now anyway.

The East TN lakes........mainly Tellico lake. It is somewhat clean and has the Mountains as a backdrop.

I completely agree (I usually order from Budsgunshop but I will pay a little more to keep the money local........several of his prices matched Buds!!). I have been in there several times and he is super nice and his prices are as good as any around. I know a few people that have bought from him already..................glad to have a local place here in Maryville that is very customer friendly and priced right!!!

Caveman........now don't take this the wrong way but it looks like she has a very firm grip with her right hand in the last photo........you taught her correct gripage techniques I see... A big ole to you!!!
