  1. I go between TN and NY for travel. Through MD the gun is unloaded and put in a case separate from the cabin of the car. The gun is dropped off with another gun owner in PA so I can legally stay in NY while I'm there. There is a lot of mileage between here and there. Your car can break down, you need to make stops, and you are out of your element. I'd take that peace as far as I could LEGALLY.
  2. Conjecture aside. Here's the phone number for the New Jersey Attorney General. (609)292.4925
  3. I just signed up and can't get it to confirm email. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. You need to call the attorney general's office for NJ. When you talk to someone have them email the requirements and carry them with you in case you are pulled over. The police don't always know the laws concerning this stuff. The attorney general in most, if not all states has the answer to carry questions concerning their state. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. 9x19 and .45
  6. Thanks!
  7. I've seen WWB with half of a primer in one cartridge. I open every box of ammo I buy since then to check.
  8. It's been a little while since I've reloaded. I've used several head stamps and can't remember if I used PPU. Anybody use this head stamp and have they had any trouble loading/firing?

  10. I don't think they're any better than stock. They're constantly updating the parts and tweaking things. They are ready to upgrade internals any time anyone drops by for them. I would imagine the new part numbers I have are going to show up in production models if they haven't already.
  11. Have friends in the Chattanooga PD that carry their Sig 220 IWB. They're able to carry them with just a polo over them tucked in and there's not much printing. These are bigger framed guys. 6' and over.
  12. Make some time to go to the Glock factory in Smyrna GA. I just came back from there and they update everything in your gun except the barrel and slide at no charge. The low left shot is from jerking the trigger and not pulling it (Flinching).
  13. Never had a problem. The Glock drop test by the factory from a helicopter in increasing distances without a failure did it for me.
  14. No appointment. To have the sites put on they said to arrive no later than 1600. People were walking in the whole time we were there. As the techs would come out someone would ask a question and it was like having a five or ten minute class each time. I learned so much!
  15. While we were waiting, I saw them bring three out to a guy having worked on all of them. Not really sure if there's a limit. Call them. They're really helpful on the phone.

    Glock 19

They're both great. My wife has a 26 and I am going to eventually get a 19 for the simple fact of having the rail. The recoil on the 26 is minimal, making the 19 (a little heavier) a smooth shooter. Compared to my G30 the recoil feels like nothing on the 19.
  17. Drove down to Smyrna recently with my brother. I have a Gen 3 G30 and he just purchased a Gen 4 G30. We had the techs install night sights and while they were doing it, they completely gutted the frame and installed new trigger bar, connector, trigger spring, complete breakdown and inspection, new recoil spring, and test fire. The sights and install were $57. My brother's gun was purchased a week ago and they already were able to upgrade to newer parts on his. The trigger crucifix is a -3. Never heard of that part number revision. I was surprised to see a -2 on my bro's when he bought his because I had already had the -1- on mine when I had a frame upgrade a few years ago. I am completely amazed at the service and they told us we could come back occasionally and have everything inspected and upgraded again if necessary. Way to go Glock!

  19. Interesting stuff. So refreshing to see information from experience!
  20. From reading some of the handbooks I gather that the published loads are higher on their fps. Is that consistent with what you see? I don't have a chrono yet, but down the road I can see myslef getting one.
  21. Whether can one find small primer loading data? I have heard you can use the same charge, but I want to see it in vendor's print!
  22. Thanks for the thorough answer! I will be sure to check my load data.
  23. .40 is the number one law enforcement caliber nationwide. The G22 is the number one firearm for law enforcement nationwide according to a friend's statistics from his department.
  24. The info you are posting sounds consistent with what I am hearing. What kind of barrel and setup are you using to get that tight of groups? Is it chrome lined? What kind of groups were you shooting with factory ammo?
