  1. I see wet tumbling more and more. Does it not wear on the brass?
  2. I have seen a few at Smokey Mountain Knife Works and GT distributors here near Chattanooga. Not a problem for me to find them. 40's are really common. I do see them a lot. The 9mm's last about twice as long [~[100,000] from what I have read. I don't see a consistent theme about 9mm's being destroyed. Interesting. Seems like a waste. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Look for police trade ins. They're better priced. Your purchase here would definitely NOT be wasted money, though.
  4. Define MIM. I have several of the new and don't have an issue. I don't doubt your statement. I have heard and read a lot about BTF. Don't don't know what MIM is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I had a similar CS issue with Sig. Mine is an older P series. Seems to be that one needs to go through a dealer and not by one's self when dealing with them.
  7. Feed ramp was pulled to back of the chamber when Gen 3 came out from what I have researched. This isn't just about Glock. More of them in circulation so problem is more likely to be blamed on them. Isn't just .40, isn't just Glock.
  8. Just go to the factory. Be there before the cutoff. I think 4p.m. Bring your mags and everything for the gun so they can go over everything.
  9. How's that work? I want to have new sights put on my two model 19s and will be in that area later this week. Can I just bring them by? Schedule an appointment?[/quote] Just go to the factory. 10. If you can't get it figured out, either go back to where you got and it they will get it resolved or call the factory. They WILL do nothing less than make it 100%. They are great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm originally from NY as well. Love living here in TN. I own several Glocks and have shot a few M and P's. Both shoot great. Both are reliable. I don't live too far away from Glock in Smyrna, GA so I go down at least once a year and they go over the guns, replace parts as needed at no charge, while I wait 45 minutes. There is no better customer service than that. You can also have 15 year night sites installed for $57 by the factory. If you're going to Nashville, a trip toward the Atlanta area isn't out of the question. Just take your gun with you and get it looked at whenever you want. Too handy for me to ignore.
  12. ARO, look into some of the Facebook pages for gun sales. Post this info there as well.
  13. Bullets are not lubed. I never have lubed plated. Everything was fine until I switched to the different lot number and then I started having major problems. Called Berry's and they said to flare more. I did. Adjustment is all the way in and still having issues. Bullets are going back for testing. Just wondered if these would swage like lead, but I guess it's not the case. I hope they replace the thousand projectiles I have.
  14. Does the same apply for a Berry's plated bullet? I switched to a different run number and although I have flared more, I am still crushing shells or shaving lead. Still have to send some back to the company to get checked out. Should be .451 but measuring from .452-.453.
  15. If can't dry fire, soak in oil.
  16. Call Glock and ask them.
  17. Too much fine motor skill required.
  18. Comment was too late. Saw he made a purchase.
  19. Looked like a .45. 1200 fps? Wow!
  20. I haven't heard of any issues with them. If you do get one, take a trip to the factory. They'll make it right and you can walk out with it within an hour.
  21. I would contact Vortex and tell them. They are constantly improving.
  22. My concern was the weight as well. I have the load data for the 115 grain Berry's plated. Not sure I want to experience the potential consequences.
  23. Thanks for the info everyone. I'll buy a few .380 and compare the two.
  24. I wonder how many of these people that introduce the legislation have stock in publicly traded arms companies. Introduce something restricting and watch your product price soar....kind of like Pete Rose for guns.
  25. ^^^^^^^^Been there and done that last year. Addressed that and works flawlessly.
