My policy is to put the seat and lid down. If I gotta put the seat down, she's gonna lift up the lid.

Just use Windows Media Player to rip CD's you already own to .MP3 format. Get a 2gb microSD ram card, format it in the phone, then use a card reader attached to your PC to copy the .mp3 files into the appropriate folder on the card. Can't remember the name of the folder, but it is created automatically by the format, and it was pretty obvious. There is also another folder on the card for ringtones. Just copy .mp3 files in there to use as free ringtones. You can download a nifty (and free) program called Audacity that will let you chop out segments of the .mp3 to make a 30 second ringtone. You don't need a whole 3 minute song, when the phone goes to VM after 30 seconds. Just be sure to save teh 30 second clip as an .MP3. I signed up for the Internet and email feature. I think it was only another $10. I can get my Yahoo, Comcast, and Gmail email sent directly to the phone. Internet browsing takes some getting used to, but it's not unbearable. I don't use it for TGO, but for getting news and weather, it's OK. I've heard there's a hack that you can do to it where you connect the phone to a PC with the USB cable that is on the charger, and the phone becomes a broadband modem. Internet on your PC, thru your phone. It may void your warranty though. I love the phone! Battery life could be better, and it annoys me that the ring speaker is under the flip so it's difficult to hear. But, it does so many other things, it's amazing.

Just came back from Oak Ridge WalMart where I found a rare box of .380 (50 count). The clerck said they had two come in this morning, and someone bought the first box. Whoever you are, thanks for leaving me one. Unfortunately, they were out of everything else I was looking for (9mm, .22 bulk).

Actually, the new politically correct term in "Climate Change". We can't say global warming, because it is disproved by the cold winters we've had the lkast few years. But if you say climate change, well then it could go either way.

I read an article a while back that said archeologists are discovering remains of ancient civilizations in places where the Arctic ice is melting. Proving that at one time a long time ago, before "global warming", there was less ice and perhaps a warmer climate.

I forget, was it the state House or Senate that had the very slim majority? If it's the House, then this should help a bit more. -
Hate Crime Bill passes House

I think in the eyes of the law these two examples are already different. The first would be first degree murder, the other is second degree murder, or a crime of passion. The offender would be prosecuted differently for each. -
Wait a minute! The gun haters have told us that thousands of them are heading south across the Mexican border every year and can be picked up at any gun show. Surely they wouldn't lie to us!

If you're looking for a good value, especially if you have multiple computers, get a subscription to MS Technet. It's around $300 and gives you 10 copies of Win7/64, 10 copies of Win7/32, 10 of each server version, 10 Office, and so on, and so on. You can download the .iso files and make your own DVD's. You also get the advanced releases of software. I've been using the official release of Win7 since August.

Great, Then the next time you are in Walmart, don't buy your favorite brand of something. Go ahead and get that other brand. We wouldn't want to show favorites. See how silly that sounds? We should all be able to make choices for whatever our reasons are. I'm sick of how this country says we have to be tolerant of everyone. We'll if that's true, then absolute tolerance should tolerate someone else's intolerance. -

We had a little chat and I told him he had issues with "Boundries". The gun never came out of my pocket, and nobody else saw it but him, so it's my word against his. If it comes up at with my boss, I'll not admit anything other than this wierdo tried to feel me up, and oh, by the way what are you going to do about that? -
Just went to Gander Mtn in Knoxville, and they had plenty of ammo on the shelf. I went looking for .380 and was able to score some. I had almost forgot what it looked like. They had the 50 count FMJ for $20, some SD Hollowpoints for $24, and a big 100 count box of JHP for $69.

What will the Nobel people do after he has made peace with the world, but brought Civil War to the US? -

In other news, the Nobel Prize for Science went to little Jimmy Smith of Podunkville for his amazing Volcano display. Nobel = Joke -
I have one 1983 and one 1984 edition of the Shooters Bible Firearm reference. I know they are pretty old, but it's fun to look up your guns and see what they were worth 25 years ago. I'm not really interested in shipping them anywhere, but if you can come to Oak Ridge, I'll be happy to meet you. If interested, PM me and I'll give you my cell phone #

We join the President as he wakes up one morning... Yawn! Wow, I still can't believe I'm the President of the free world. I wonder what I'll do today? Maybe I'll close Gitmo like I promised. Naw, that doesn't sound like any fun. Maybe I'll work on Iraq, and get started bringing home the soldiers like I said I would. Or, maybe not. I know, maybe I'll try to find Bin Laden and fix Afganistan. Umm, that sounds too hard, think I'll pass. Ohh, maybe I'll fix unemployment. Boring! Wait, didn't someone say something about the economy being in the crapper? Wish I knew something about economics. I Know! I'll save the fish. Michelle, get up and get me that phone....

Not sure if my "employer" has a policy or not, but the "place" I work at most certainly does. I'm a subcontractor. Anyway, I was way off-site, and I don't think that would be a problem. At the most, I may get a "What's that all about" from my boss. -
I used to do computer work for the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA). They are located in Knoxville around Summit Hill. I think they help get amputees help, prosthetics, support, etc. Whatever they need. I've heard that rubber-banding a coffee filter over the intake hose does a good job. They are light and cheap.
