  1. The other odd thing I noticed, is there is no traffic on the streets.
  2. One option is to list in in the giveaway section on Craigslist
  3. Keep an extra $20 or $50 in your wallet. If someone spots you, drop the bill on the table to pay for the meal and get out. I think someone else on here said if you make it to the parking lot before the cops show up, they have no proof.
  4. I noticed the surplus of ammo there today too. Still no.380, but that didn't surprise me. I did ask about the Blazer Brass 9mm 50ct, and the clerk said they have been replaced with Federal 50ct boxes, still for $9.97. Also noticed the price of .22 went way up. Think it was just under $19 for the 550ct box. seems they were just $15 not too long ago.
  5. You know how much electricity it will take to heat , cool, etc. that place? Hope he knows of a good place to buy some offset carbon credits.
  6. Might have been funny if the "Cop" came out after dinner and found that someone had let the air out of his tires. Just sayin it would be funny, I would never encourage that kind of behavior.
  7. People who use the word "Literally" in a sentance to describe something not literal. For example, "I literally walked a million miles at the mall today"
  8. Several years ago, I had my two then teenage boys in the car on the way to a lake when a rabbit ran in front of the car. I hit the brakes and swerved, but unfortunately still hit the little guy. My kids were slightly shocked to realize I hit him. I looked in the rearview and saw him flopping around on the pavement, obviously in distress and going to die. I had to think fast on what to do, so I put the car in reverse and ran him over again. This time it finished him off. Of course the kids were stunned at what I did, and still tease me about being a rabbit killer.
  9. Yanno, I've been saying this all along. They keep saying guns and alcohol don't mix. They also say that about driving and alcohol, operating machinery and alcohol, going to work and alcohol, dating and alcohol, teens and alcohol. Seems to me the problem is with alcohol, not the other half of each equation. Make it legal to sell only from a package store, where you have to take it home to drink.
  10. The yappy dog next door that barks at me non-stop EVERY time I go into my own back yard. People who think a conversation means they talk and you listen. Or always have a bigger better story than the one you just told. Posts with titles like "Big vote in Senate tomorrow" Becomes totally misleading, irrelevant and frustrating when someone posts to it three months later.
  11. Just reboot. A goot reboot will fix anything, at least that's what I tell my users.
  12. There are just some places a phone should not be used!
  13. snopes.com: Sears Catalogue Model Exposed Was it Zoot Fenster, "The man on page 602"?
  14. Joseph Kittinger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Holy cow! Kittinger is the man. They don't make em like that anymore.
  15. No, I'm not saying he should have stacked the deck like Naifeh did, but don't put people on there that clearly have an agenda. I mean there is no question how Naifeh feels about the subject. Let's pick people that can have a serious discussion and actually weigh the arguments.
  16. On the rare occasion my wife drags me to the grocery store, and I'm bored to tears, I start looking for the grossest things they have for sale. Just a little something to help pass the time.
  17. If each person who logs on to the computer has their own account, then you can set permissions on the folder to give access just to your account. When someone else logs on they won't be able to access the folder. Of course if they have Administrator privs, they can take ownership of the folder and reset the permissions. So you need to make sure you are the only Administrator. You'll also need to make sure nobody knows your password, otherwise, they'll just logon as you. You also have to make sure to log off or lock the PC (use Windows_key + L), otherwise they sit down at the PC and are already logged on as you. Another thought, many programs allow you to set passwords on the files. I'm pretty sure Word or Excel does this. Whenever you try to open that particular file, you get prompted for the password. Unfortunately, you have to enable this inside each file. Some program's passwords are easily hacked by a professional, but can easily keep out casual users like children or roommates.
  18. Yeah, I thought it was Williams who appointed members to the committee. If he was such a 2A supporter, he could have chosen a little more wisely. Look how Naifeh used to pick them when he was in charge.
  19. You will be amazed how many there are. I had them real bad on the porch of a house I was restoring. We'd take a break from work and go swat bees. You could get 20 or so in just 10 or 15 minutes. I kept thinking, that's got to be all of them. Come back a few hours later and get another 20. Repeat every day. We must have killed hundreds of them.
  20. LOL, that's pretty funny. Now it has moved up a position.
  21. Three men checked into a hotel room and were charged $30 for which they paid $10 each. The next day, the manager realized that the men had been overcharged since the real price is $25 for the room. The manager gave the bellhop $5 to return to the three men. On the way to their room the bellhop decided to keep $2 for himself so he wouldn't have to make change. The bellhop gave $1 to each man. The three men had now paid $9 each, or a total of $27. This, plus the $2 the bellhop kept for himself, makes a total of $29. What happened to the other dollar?
  22. Funny you should mention Dave Ramsey, he doesn't like the Health care reform either, as well as TARP, Cash for Clunkers, and automobile manufacturer bailouts. In fact he thinks that government should butt out and let people live their own lives, to success or failure. Here's a link to his thoughts on FOX news: Dave Ramsey on Health Reform
  23. Wow, not even one? Not even the guy this whole thread is about? Seriously? I watch Fox news all the time too, and I see doctors on there that think this is a bad idea. Hannity has interviewed some that are considering leaving their practice because it will no longer be profitable. And yes I said profitable. Everyone, including doctors and me, are in it for profit. It's not a bad word. There have also been college students interviewed who claim to be changing their major from physician to something else because it's not worth putting yourself in debt for $100+K for a job that will never be able to pay that off. Maybe you should watch the news with your Socialist filter off once in a while. It might be eye opening.
  24. Was thinking this might be good to go to and thought I'd share it...
