I can't exactly picture the van, but I can't think of any place better on any van in my head. Sounds like either behind or under would be the best/simplest areas. Maybe more behind, that way if anything needed to be accessed it would be easier.

Police Need Warrant for Dogs Sniffing Homes, High Court Says
bigbabysweets replied to a topic in General Chat
I got searched when I was pulled over at 16. For some reason the dog hit on a bag of dirty clothes I had changed out of. There I was, 16 on the side of I-26, having a drug dog going to town in the ball sack portion of some dirty boxers. Lol I made some smart comment to the officer and he made me stand with my hands on the hood of his squad car..... I also read where they are training bees to sniff for drugs. It takes like 15 min to train a bee. Apparently, they put the substance in a lidded cup with sugar water on the lid. After a few attempts the bee associates the sweet water with the smell of the drugs/bomb and sticks its tongue out every time it smells it, expecting to taste sweetness. The just put them under microscopes and when they stick their tongue out, bingo.... It's cheaper and quicker, but what happens when the bee genuinely smells something it wants to eat? Cavity searches all around! -
He is responsible for the death, no matter what. If it had broke a lead, jumped a fence, even bit someone in his home he'd be accountable. Whether he tried to save his kids or not, he's the adult that owned the dog. However, I think the cameraman is hilarious. When he was yelling, "bash his head in!" I thought it was myself talking out loud. Lol I wonder why it took him so long to get over there? What was he doing? I guess he was " lost in space" and finally realized his dog was getting all True Blood on some innocent pair of living shoes. I do commend him for just walking away. He never even said a word, just stone colded it! Lol If it was me, I would have totally just GTFO of there. Then again, I'd like to believe, (like everybody), that I would not have let this happen to me!

I've always wanted to make/ buy a fire piston. Making fire by way of air pressure just sounds awesome. I use lent off pants/shirts/socks a lot with the flint strikers. A few scrapes with a knife and you have a nice base to get something going. Always to remember to hold the striker still close to the tinder and pull the flint back, that way you don't knock over your bundle spilling the lint out!

Can I have your babies? I want to jump in that pile like Scrooge McDuck!

Amazing...... I will be passing this video along! Thanks 45guy for bringing it to my attention! -
It really is amazing how differently Canadians see firearms. My dad and brothers etc are 100% Canadian,(I know, don't judge me), while I am 100% AMERICAN. (Just felt I needed to reiterate) I am a born in the U.S. American! My dad hates guns. He got jumped a few years ago by 4 guys when he was like 55, they beat him pretty bad. he should see the need for one! I let him shoot the few I own and he just shakes his head. He just wanted to pose with them to show my brothers when he went back home. They don't believe in owning them. They said if they hunted, maybe, but if it come down to home defense etc they'd just move. My response was, " so just be chased from home to home? Stand your ground and the threat is over, home sweet home!" They just laughed and said it wasn't worth it.... These are the same people that NEVER lock their door. I asked him why, why even chance it. He said that if the neighbors needed something, how would they get in and get it? At this he pointed to a note on the fridge that read, " Ed and Deb, sorry we missed you, we borrowed some sugar and milk. Thanks, ( I forget the neighbors' names)." It happens all the time. They just seem to be a different breed up in the great white north. That being said, people need to know when to shut their mouths and not try to take away our rights.......

I just read an article on this last night. So it actually made a difference? I wasn't sure if it would be worth the effort, but it looked like something worth a try. I was fixing to ask friends for empty cans since I've quit drink soda and never drank beer!

Psh, I don't even have anything that shoots a .223. If this goes down, I'm sure there'll be plenty of AKs laying around, but picking up 5 rounds per mag..... I've read somewhere before that they have NO outside info coming in, just what's given by their government. It said that they have them believing we're the evil, the entire world is a 3rd world country and that they're the " light of the world." -
Looks like a day well spent. It is getting to be that time of year, maybe I should get a bag ready.....

Looks likes they're buying their ghillie kits from the aquarium section at PetSmart. Maybe an amphibious attack! -
Ahhh, this has been most amusing........

Thanks! I seen a couple bobbed already for about 5k. It just seemed to take away from it to me. They said its easier to maneuver and has better gas mileage, but it's just not a deuce. I love the winch on these things. I did think about getting a shop van version and making it a BA camper, still might. If I had a bigger place I'd just have the bed on a platform so I could just back under it and bolt it on, just in case.

My wife hated the idea. I brought up multi fuel and prepping, she said maybe. Once she climbed inside and we did figure 8s through some parking lots, she doesn't mind. Plus they won't go down in value. If she hadn't seen /rode in one, you can take her for a ride in mine. That should bring her around...... Lol

It's amazing what doctors can do! Removing muscle from an abdomen to rebuild an ankle. I can't say much for muscle, but if they can use fat, I can give all the fat they need to help with the process! He can come away with a mighty nice cankle on one leg! Thanks for the updates!

Congrats! Her experiences in life will be some of the greatest of yours! My most precious thing is the time spent with my daughter. She's 4 and I can imagine life without her. "Life" is fixing to start.....

WALMART Stone Drive Kingsport has .40 .45 100 round WB
bigbabysweets replied to Krull's topic in General Chat
I did find some home defense 9mm. I didn't want to spend the 1.25 per round but wife talked me into it " just in case." I opened the box when I got to my car, missing a round! Somebody had stolen 1 round out of the box of 20! I guess somebody wanted to take the easy way out but couldn't afford ammo either..... -
Somebody must have been yellin' "choot 'em CHOOT 'EM!)
-
Hate to hear that. Accidents happen to us all, sometimes we get lucky, unfortunately he didn't this time (then I guess it could have been worse!) Hope all goes well! Does he need help with anything?

Any advice on choosing a toolbox for my truck?
bigbabysweets replied to BigK's topic in General Chat
Idk if you'd be interested, but I have one somewhere I'd give ya. I had it in the back of my truck when I let someone borrow to move. They took the box out and I've since then sold the truck..... It older, black and of the gull wing variety. Ill have to see where they put it and what condition it's still in if you're interested. I had used it for the metal detector, tow ropes, emergency bag, jumper cables, my softball gear and my red Ryder... It might be like Christmas when I get it back...... -
Lol Thanks. I've always wanted to get some of those hand crank style water guns Dollywood has and a 300 gallon tank in the back and just roll through downtown.... I'm also looking into making ballistic glass for the windshields!
