  1. looks like an auto version of their mule line of fixed blades.
  2. Not going to lie I think either scenario I would rather have the capacity and reload speed of a 9MM semi auto. Especially if we are talking about TN wildlife, you get into the mountains or out west I would switch to a glock 10MM but same concept.
  3. aimpoint, vortex, and eotech all make solid magnifiers. The holosun 3x is good as well for a more budget friendly version. Each of those come with solid mounts, if your PRO is on a riser might want to look at the unity options for the higher magnifier.
  4. Just got into pressure canning this year, have done chicken and beef stew as well as a handful of other veggies. It's a fun skill to have and a good way to put away some food for later use. Did a few batches of candied jalapenos as well and they have been mighty tasty.
  5. have one of these and with a can on it I smile with every shot. Super fun piece and the youth stock works OK for an adult for some cheap plinking.
  6. How do these suppress?
  7. My suggestion would be to avoid a "block set". Get yourself a really good quality chef knife, paring knife, and bread knife. After that get yourself a quality set of sharpening stones or a system to keep them sharp. This will cover 95% of what you need and avoid spending money on knives you aren't going to use. I picked up a tactile chef's knife maybe 2 years ago and it has been a champion, also really like the Spyderco kitchen knives. No input on the steak knives.
  8. the ACSS has some pretty good built in BDC in the reticle. Have one on a 5.56 gun and their .22 LR version and have been pretty happy with both. For reference for a general purpose setup I still prefer a dot + magnifier
  9. I had one and sold it to fund another purchase a few years back. It was a splendid shooter and probably the best factory pistol trigger I have used. Be warned mags have been notoriously hard to find here recently.
  10. seems like an esstac daeodon would fit the bill. I run this in the 5.56 config and have been happy with it. https://esstac.com/7-62-triple-midlength-daeodon-front-panel/
  11. 1. Reliability - this is leaps and bounds above the rest, I don't mind working through random issues on range guns but on a defensive gun no way. 2. Carry-ability - How easy is this going to be to carry, if it is great at everything but is a PITA to carry it's likely going to get left at the house 3. Capacity - I want as many chances as possible 4. Caliber - Need to be able to produce the intended results when called upon 5. Accessory Compatibility - I want to be able to mount a dot and a light 6. Holsters - Is there a reputable manufacturer that can support different holster styles
  12. Hot damn sad I missed em but will be on the lookout for the next batch
  13. sweet blade, make sure to let someone borrow it next time they need to turn a screw.
  14. Ive got one and would agree they are solid pieces. The other option that I see a lot are the kenai (sp?) chest holsters, only downside of this is they are pistol only with no pockets or room for other stuff with the tradeoff of being quicker access than the HPG stuff. Also the HPG rigs are more "concealed" than a kenai rig to the average person.
  15. curious what you swapped this out for. Have a 457 scout that might need an upgrade.
  16. great prices on those G19's
  17. are the G19 mags two different sizes? Pic makes the 9 marked ones look smaller than the 10 ones.
  18. plastic/rubber body may be an issue depending on where you mount it and how much heat it's going to be subjected to.
  19. Im sure it would not be an issue. Magpul makes pretty affordable ring mounts
  20. I wouldn't be opposed to putting it on a long gun. I would however suggest looking at the protac rail mount or HLX series of streamlights for a fairly low price proven weapon light.
