For when you want to really ruffle some feathers....
-
I would rather take my chances in bear country.
-
Looks like a solid solution. I wish I had a reason to need a bear rig, I just don't think I could justify it for evening strolls through the neighborhood.

I kind of like the FF rail ones, not sure what the price will be. I do wonder as AR-9 prices go down and options go up, which of these would be a better option. I do think the Ruger would look nice with a can on the end of it.

When I was buying my F-150 the amp research seemed to be the highest regarded auto step.

Oh I already found a "leak" I feel so privileged.

I have always wondered how is the retention on an OWB leather holster, especially for something other than a cowboy style deep pocket for a big wheel gun? It seems like there would be enough flex in the material that would allow things to come out pretty easily but never talked with anyone who has one.
-
How foolish of me to forget that fact, those guns really have a mind of their own.

Does this mean that if a person gets killed in a car accident that was 100% driver error the family of the deceased can sue the auto maker?

I had a Rem 597 in .22LR shoot pieces of a shattered extractor and spring at me a couple years ago.

I have an older lcp 1 and while I’m sure it would last 20k rounds I would worry about the barrrel and other moving parts at that point. The bigger question is who would want to put 20k rounds through one? They are not fun guns to shoot.

OK folks I have an itch to build another AR style firearm and am looking for some advice on what to build next. I would like to stick to 5.56 so I don’t have to acquire a bunch of different ammo and with my usage I don’t see an immediate need for anything larger or longer range. I have a rugged surge waiting in jail for me and an extra SBA3 brace laying around. I am thinking of doing a 14.5” mid-length build, or even an AR-9 to match my pistol ammo. Right now I have: 16” mid-length 5.56 with a 1-6 optic 10.5” carbine-length 5.56 pistol with an RDS (HD) 7.5” pistol-length 5.56 pistol with and RDS (beater truck gun)

I would like to add a Form 1 suppressor for this for a "dollars for decibels" build.

Tennessee hunter spots 12-point albino buck

I was going to reference that exact location. I see them a couple times a year going down wilson pike in the morning standing in the field right next to the walking path. -
I have done it a couple of times (not prolonged just saw a bass jump near me and rode over for couple casts. The issue is the low speed control, even with F/N/R controls on the newer ones they still are not fun at low speed. There also isn't a whole lot of room for gear and anchoring can be a PITA dragging stuff out from whatever compartment you have it shoved into. If i was going to get a boat for the sole purpose of fishing I would look at either a kayak or one of those little "bass buggies" or whatever and a trailer with a good winch. At that weight you could get a small electric winch and pull either up onto a trailer pretty easy.

Remember about 10 years ago.... when

I'm afraid that in 15-20 years from now we will be looking back talking about $400 complete ARs and $10 30rd mags. -
The good news is that with E-File form 1s getting turned around in a matter of weeks the wait isn't so bad for an SBR. Doesn't solve the problem of paying $200 for an official stock on your 10.5" pistol, nor does it make it any easier to carry what was a pistol across state lines.

This has been the exact reason I have not ditched my LCP. Sure there may be some 9mm pistols that are "similar" in size, but I have not run across any that are small enough to be considered a replacement for the ultra concealability of the LCP.

That XM-18 is about to snap at any moment. Please send it my way so you don't get hurt when it does.

Are you breaking the actual clips or ripping out the screws from the scales? I have been carrying spyderco almost exclusively for around 20 years and I have bent many clips but never actually broken one. Are these wire clips or the full metal ones?

I have used the protected 123 alternatives from a guy on candlepowerforums for a couple years now with no issues. I use eneloops for my AA and AAA lights. I do keep my surefire primary 123s in my weapon lights just in case. -
I tried the Old Forrester 1920 the other night and it was much better than my usual very old barton BiB.
