I have never seen anything that is for less than a 1" tube. I had one and sold it for around $400 if I recall with an OWB holster, and a handful of mags. The sight is worth around 150. They have shot up in price over the last year like everything so I wouldn't be too keen on the $400 as a benchmark. I do know that the threaded barrel is very hard to come by as only preppergunshop has them and they are over $100 by themselves, you could easily sell that on the canik forums.

I am a big fan of the ferro concepts slingster and the edgar sherman slings. Both are pretty simple 2 point slings with quick adjustment capability, my pick between the two would be the slingster, just be advised the metal adjustment buckle will rub against your upper/optic.

Ive got two built up, one 7.5" 5.56 and another 10.5" 5.56. I have been really impressed with them, have take a couple courses with the 10.5 and it held up just fine. I would have no qualms about getting more of them I did tap the buffer retainer detent spring hole on both and the plastic seems to be holding up just fine.

on other thing to consider is if you are looking to ever add a dot to the pistol the Hellcat offers an OSP model that comes milled for an optic. I actually got the 365 XL and swapped out a 365 grip module to retain the concealability while providing the longer/milled slide. With a holosun 507K it makes a dandy little package.

Agree you are looking at at least 2 cans, even your 30 cal and rimfire cans will not work for your 9mm. Handgun cans aren't too great honestly for centerfire, I would stick with your two options and go from there. My personal 30 cal choice was a Rugged Surge, I am likely going to pull the trigger on a dead air mask for my rimfire needs in the next couple of weeks.

smoky mtn concealment makes a lot of canik stuff, but I don't think they offer one with active retention.

I am a big fan of the Holosun 510C, open reflex style sight window and excellent batter life. Can be had for around $250-$275 if you shop around.

I've got a PA 1-6 ACSS that I got on a Black Friday sale a couple years ago. For the money it has been a champ, I typically shoot my shorter guns more so don't get to pull it out much, but have always been impressed with the clarity. I haven't read many bad reviews of the PA ones. Might want to take a look at the swampfox offerings as well.

I love that the two options up for consideration here are either an ultra concealable "single" stack 9mm or an MP5K in a shoulder rig.

Seems like a lot of potential pitfalls there and more interfaces than a simple 4 button lock. I have a sentry fingerprint model that has been a stud for a while now, has a 4 button backup should the reader fail for some reason.
