  2. olretiredgunney you still there?
  3. Di-grinder and about 20 min. The arm broke in half the I used a drill bit for the pin, and I reused the old spring.

    My First AR

    A Rock River NM trigger.
  5. I finally figured out what pin you all are talking about. I have a old Walker that one fell out I just made one out of a punch I had in the tool box. A week later the Hand & Spring Assembly broke and that is were the rest of the punch went.
  6. .530 roundball 80 gr FF. the same thing for the last 20 years
  7. The originals and the 70's had steel frames with brass back straps that had silver plating. This should help with the diagram. http://www.coltparts.com/pt_61navy.html This is so cool I did a report in the 8th grade on this gun. In the 9th I did one on the LeMat
  8. I have 3 1911 2 in .45 1 in 9mm Largo all 3 are cocked & locked 2 in the safe at home 1 on my hip. My wife has a g23 and I think the only time it has not had a round in the chamber for the last 13 years is when she is putting another mag in at practice.
  9. Marlin: I have had 4 of them and never had a problem will take any ammo you can find. I have had 3 rugers and find them picky on what ammo you use.
  10. If the gun was made in the 1800 leave it alone put it in a safe are sell it. Colt started having them made again in 1970-72 then started up again in the 90's. all of these are made by Uberti and are great guns. To get the best quality parts give Uberti USA a call. When Colt started making them in the 70's the S/N started right where they left of on the originals. I have 2 of the Navy 1861 from the 70's and I will say they are the finest black powder revolvers I have come across
  11. I think a lot of people would be surprised at how many guns with ammo are buried around the state
  12. Best picture so far I'm going to go cry now,
  13. When they grow up it just gets better.
  14. Ted is the man. I remember back in the 70's I went through 3 Free for All and 4 Double Live Gonzo. The man loves life and the U.S.A. The video reminded me of a Grand Funk song. Ohhh, people why don’t you come in here and let me talk to you a while. That’s right, step right up and listen to a concerned citizen speak his piece. Ill tell you a little something that my daddy told to me. My basic fundamentals if you want to be free. Cause son, there’s something wrong internally. So, if you want your freedom son. Don’t want your country to be overrun. You got to keep America number one. (chorus) My daddy told me son, don't let em take your gun. That’s what they tryin to do. Son, don’t let em take your gun. They’re takin your bill of rights away from you. My daddy said son, don’t let em take your gun. That’s what they tryin to do. Son, don’t let em take your gun. Don’t let em take your gun away from you. Ohhh, this year is our anniversary. Two hundred years, people we’ve been free. Wont be nobody takin over our land. If everybody’s brothers got a gun in his hand. I’m tellin you we learned to fight for justice. We're willing to die for freedom. Hand in hand. You got to understand. We are American men. Said they want your gun. Said they want your gun. Send em on the run. Send em on the run. Hip-hurray for fun. Hip-hurray for fun. If they do were done. If they do were done.
  15. I have been riding for years and I even own a bike shop in Spring Hill. The Jandd frame bag is the best option. As far as loose shorts on a road bike not a good idea. On a road bike you are spending a hour are more on the bike and with your legs moving all the time something loose no matter how soft will rub you raw mainly on the top of your thighs. That is the reason we spend up to $100 are more for a good pair of shorts.
  16. Most churches are renting the school so wouldn't that make it a church and not a school. As far as the insurance is concerned when the church is renting it the church is responsible.
  17. You have to remember clinton's assault weapons bill was dead with no chance of returning the all the sudden it was law. the same thing can happen again. and remember Mr Ruger was a big part of it.

    .40S&W vs .45ACP

You will not find a better gun out of the box than a Glock 21. My wife loves hers and if it came down to only 1 pistol in the house it would be that one.
  19. I have known Larry from the time he was working out of his house. I go no other place for reloading supplies. He has had some employees over the years that got on my nerves, but I can say I get on some peoples myself. I have not talked to Larry in about a year because I have moved to Spring Hill but I still count him as a friend.
  20. With a .45 I think it would be more of a BOOM BOOM , BOOM , BOOM BOOM BOOM , BOOM BOOM. Honey did my stance look good, and what was my time? That was quick dad all but 1 hit him before he was on the ground. Hey Daddy whats the # for 911?
  21. We are all CRIMINALS
  22. i carried a glock 27 for years and you will not find a better gun for CCW. come to think of it I can't think of anything wrong with the gun.
  23. I carry all the time even in the shower. Bond, James Bond
  24. I got one in 81 at a True Value hardware store. it got stolen some time around 88. back then you could carry one because it was not considered a firearm. If you live any were near Spring Hill I will get it going for you.
